I think what we are seeing in this primary is a bunch of people trying to defend and maintain control of their turf, or their slice of the pie, and it’s based on things remaining the same.
Levin, Limbaugh and Beck are all pied pipers for the GOP or the status quo.
They sing the tune we want to hear, but their purpose is to make sure that we stay in line and do what we are supposed to do.
They make sure that we don’t go and do something that is going to rock the boat.
And they are now realizing that a large number of us are no longer listening to their tune.
And they do not like it.

Wow, this is a far cry from 2012 when Levin got on the air while Newt was STILL in the race and said, "We conservatives are going to have to rally together and pull out a win for Mitty Romney." He didn't ask Romney to persuade conservatives, or give him a to-do list. He fell right in line with the Establishment and went straight on the air and rallied what I am sure he considered his troops. I actually saved the snippet of his podcast and am going to post it if I can figure it out. It says more about Levin in 2 minutes than you can imagine ...

I’m actually kind of an achey, grumbly crank too, but I’m familiar with the thread and have read Biggirl’s reasons for posting it and her frustrations too. I appreciate those who post threads, and think they deserve some slack.
I’m also reluctant to airbrush former comrades out of the photos too soon. That is a lot easier than putting them back in later.
I’m gonna make it through the first hour!
Of course, he is not as vitriolic as he has been, so I haven’t had the urge to click him off.
