You’ve got major issues with projecting and staying on topic.

And now that you’ve gone down Godwin’s Law path and the usually boring name-calling (because you cannot prove your point in words), I’ll just say that it is YOU who doesn’t know anything about sin and God.

LOL at the rest of your post!

Amid the brutal reality of the human condition, only the Risen Lord provides a real word of hope.

You're the only one laughing on this thread.

And as far as Godwin's Law goes, tell me, were the soldiers who liberated Auschwitz equivalent sinners to the Nazis who ran the camp - according to your understanding of Jesus and the Bible?

“It’s things like this that make me doubt I’ll ever be able to fulfill Jesus’ command to forgive and love. Not because I couldn’t force myself to do it, but because, Dear God, I don’t want to.”

Me, too.

Yes I know it is the arrest photo.

It was sarcasm.

The point being:Why is the POS undamaged and glaring defiantly at the camera?

He SHOULD have a hard time holding his head up for the photo and jerk reflexively every time a loud noise happens any where near him. He also should be missing all his teeth.

“You think about killing somebody, just think it, means you’re a murderer.”

Yep, without Jesus, I’m a serial killer. I gotta really long list of people I’d like to see cease breathing.

Nobody is laughing at the tragic circumstances of the topic.

The problem with your question is that you’re using human morality to compare two opposing forces in a physical war, where evil happens on both sides. You might have a problem knowing that God did indeed save some Nazi’s and that a few are actually in heaven as we speak because they understood their pitiful state was leading them to destruction.

On the same point, you might find it hard to believe that a lot of “good” American & Brit soldiers who liberated those camps are currently in hell because they refused to acknowledge God’s way of salvation.

Ted Bundy, perhaps one of the most gruesome killers in American history, went on to become a Christian. Karla Faye Tucker is another example.

Read up on the Son of Sam. He purposely refuses to be paroled for his crimes because he knows he’s deserving of life in prison and even more. He currently has a prison ministry.

My whole entire point is that, as Christians, we are called to forgive. No matter what happens to loved ones and the evil others inflict on us. Forgive...not forget. Matthew 6:14.

You may think of me as a horrible human being based on our short posting to each other. I agree. I deserve hell, just like the monster who killed this little innocent child. Anybody who acknowledges their sin comes to that same conclusion. I’d rather be “right” with God than with man.

Until the sinner repents and asks forgiveness you are under no obligation to do so.

Local news tonight says the Tribe requested that the death penalty not be applied against Begaye, but I’m sure his sentence will be greater than 20 years.

How can anyone be opposed to the death penalty? I really do not understand that at all.

Tribe requested no death penalty sentence for Begaye.

Nobody is laughing at the tragic circumstances of the topic. The problem with your question is that you’re using human morality to compare two opposing forces in a physical war, where evil happens on both sides.

You're laughing, in fact, by refusing to acknowledge the difference in morality before God between the two sides.

To you it's a game of words. That's why you dared call me equal to this vile murderer on this thread, because you wanted to commit moral and emotional shock and rape under the guise of sanctity.

Genesis 1:27 states that we are created in the image of God. FYI, that image is love. But to you that teaching is just a data point, and you scramble for all the biblical quotes about sin. What you don't get, is that we are love. Period. That's how God made us, and sin doesn't change it. You don't get that, because you don't want to get it - that gets in your way, your fantasies of people being filthy souls, and more importantly, your ability to get people to divorce morality from God.

Your "human morality" DOESN'T EXIST. Morality, true morality, is truth, and it comes from God. It is what makes soldiers strong, and what made it clear that the Allies were right and the Nazis were wrong - and protected against the soul-rotting moral relativism you're pushing, which is your real goal. You want to crawl into people's heads and make them doubtful and self-loathing. Instead of sin being the mistake of not recognizing the need for God's grace, you want to give it the power to make the soul itself, the soul of love, evil. You want to use the Bible to claim evil is capable of independent existence, rather than being the act of turning against God. You want to use the Bible to teach a lie.

This murdering bastard is not like me, or most people, at all. Not in his mind and not in his heart. His sin is not existential, because there's no such thing. We are all made, existentially, in the image of God. Out very souls are love, and to claim otherwise is to deny the Truth of Jesus and the Bible. What this murdering bastard has done is turned away from God's love and sought satisfaction for his grieving soul in the thrill of committing heinous evil. In that, he has utterly rejected God, and grievously harmed his soul. But his soul is still love. No one has the power to change that, not him, and not you.

THAT perspective is what Jesus taught. That's why I grieve that under such horror I simply want him dead - to affirm the value of the life of that little girl AND the fact of the wrongness of the deed in a world where people like YOU seek to hide the clarity of the MORALITY. But my grief bears witness to the love that God made me out of, and you, and him. Your obsession with sin as existence itself, however, is a dark and twisted fetish that you use to crush morality and steal righteousness from good people, wielding the Bible itself as your weapon against the truth of the love that forever makes up their very souls.

What you're doing is evil - but not what you are. So give it up before it destroys you. Stop creating and enabling morally confused, self-loathing liberals who don't dare value their lives more than their murderers, because they can no longer reason their way out of your perversion of the Bible. Seek the love of God yourself, out of which He made your own soul. It is His great gift to you, his eternal presence of Grace itself. Accept it, and you won't feel the need to teach people they are evil anymore.

------------

Matthew 22:36-40

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself .’40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

------------

Our identities are love, not sin.

And sin can't change that.

I think that is true. But even justified hatred is internally destructive. Detachment, however, can be problematic. :-)

I’m laughing at your rationalization that you truly believe you are “better” than others based on your self-perceived “righteousness”, specifically this mentally deranged individual before a Holy God.

Romans 3:23 says otherwise and you along with everybody else is that’s ever breathed one breath is guilty of sin.

As a matter of fact, I suggest you read the entire book of Romans to understand exactly what kind of hold sin has over people unless they turn to Christ.

Other verses that back me up:

Psalm 51:5
Psalm 58:3
Job 15:14
Ecclesiastes 7:20
1 John 1:10
Jeremiah 17:9

Hardly verses from the lips of God suggesting we are “LOVE”. I didn’t use these words, God did and that’s how He views each and every person unless they accept His Son and repent of their sins. Those who don’t, suffer the same exact punishment that this man will based on the road he appears to be on. They’ll follow Cain, Barrabas, Judas, and every pagan ever born straight to the pit.

Where does it say our souls are “love”? What scripture?
I have not pushed any version of moral relativism. What I am pushing is that there is no such thing as good in the human heart as we are and we are in dire need of a Holy Savior. All of us.

1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

And it’s hardly self-loathing when you look at the actual state that mankind is in - every one of us.
