Columnist Charles Krauthammer argued that the GOP is “being led by a non-conservative populist” and that from what he’s seen so far, “I don’t think I’d be capable of voting for Donald Trump” on Tuesday’s “O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel.

It’s really unfortunate that there are still so many people that hold this guy’s opinion in such high regard.

I'd like to say this about "true" conservatives and populists etc.:

The so-called leaders of the conservative movement have been a complete failure. If Krauthammer wants to know why Trump won he needs to look in a mirror.

They talk a finely tuned intellectual jibberish that produces nothing and capitulates as SOP.

What value is it? We should support the GOP for what reason?

Trump is no conservative, but then again he's not a politician. Trump is a pragmatist.

I like Mr Krauthammer and would love to hear his explanation on why he and his ilk were so soundly rejected by the conservative base.

All the “Conservatives” coming out of the woodwork now. Still professing to to be something they are not and have never been.

If this is really the definition of a “Conservative” then I think I was right in questioning their motives in the first place. If they are not considered on the A-list then they are more than willing to take their ball and run home to cry.

Kraulthammer—the way you struggle to breathe on Fox, I doubt if you’ll even see November.

All of those falling on their swords since last night...

It is messy all over the place.

Can we get some paper towels over here??????

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to learn that Krauthammer secretly voted for history and voted for the first black president.

That's perfectly fine, let Krauthammer go.

1) Their actions reveal who and what they really are and prove where their real/genuine loyalties lie: Not America but WITH THEMSELVES; THEIR position, THEIR power THEIR wealth and with the "Uniparty". Mark these people out and write them PERMANENTLY off of your "they are conservatives" list. Krauthammer et, al, along with their "opinions" are irrelevant.

2) Don't worry about Krauthammer's, and other so called "conservative" pundits defections, as we have already seen throughout the primary elections the millions upon millions of Americans finally waking up and fleeing the communist, socialist, democRAT party in order to vote for TRUMP will way more than off set their puny numbers.

Traitorous people like Krauthammer should be shunned.

That's pretty funny. And drawn and quartered, too! SHAME on him, SHAME for being a conservative luminary for decades and then REFUSING to LOVE The Trump!

Isn’t Krauthammer one of the founders of “Dolts With Delusions Of Relevance,” or am I confusing him with someone else?

One of Irving Kristol’s most celebrated quips defines a neo-conservative as “a liberal who has been mugged by reality.”

21st century conservatives have been mugged by neo-cons.
Trump is the new political paradigm: Reagan, part II.
They don’t have to like it. It is what it is.

Some of these anti-Trump pundits fear losing their audience and popularity, their livelihood, because they consider themselves to be conservative but their opinions have been rejected by the republican voters. Especially the neocon experts, how will they be so popular out their pushing for wars and new five year plans for ISIS when Trump is pushing for peace and plans to eliminate ISIS swiftly?

Who’z left? Kasich?

I'd hoped for a more conservative candidate. That said, it's NOT about Trump. It's about Americans rebellion against this government. A civil, civil war.

We want change and Trump is the vehicle folks have chosen to bring about that change.

Now....Mr. Trump, i’ve heard all the hyperbole and snazzy lil catch phrases. You've got my vote and I hope and pray you'll not make a fool out of us. It's on you now to deliver what you've promised. If you betray us as the republicans have, the civil civil war may not remain civil. Not advocating...juss reading the pulse.
