WATCH: American Army Heroes Discuss Catching Children Thrown From Burning Building

This morning on CNN, Carol Costello recapped the harrowing moments when a mother near the Osan Air Force Base in Korea was forced to throw her children from a window in their burning building.

She invited First Sergeant Melanie Scott, Tech Sergeant Stefan Haynes, and Master Sergeant Michael Henry on air to discuss how they convinced the mother to toss her children down to them as neighbors stood and watched in horror.

Sgt. Henry insisted that it was a group effort and that no one person got the mother to throw her kids while Sgt. Scott explained that it took no convincing to get people nearby to help.

Watch above to see them recount grabbing a blanket from a nearby vendor and forming a “trampoline” between them for the kids to fall into.
