Kasich: Seriously, you guys, I can win this
CBS News ^ | May 3, 2016 | Erica Brown

Reacting to Cruz's exit, Kasich tweeted his support saying the Senator "should be proud of his strong and disciplined campaign" and added that Texans were "lucky" to have him represent them.

Taking advantage of a narrow opportunity to garner financial support after Cruz ended his White House bid, Kasich's campaign also blasted out a fundraising email to supporters, soliciting donations as the only candidate who can "stop Trump and unify the party."

Kasich continues to defend his staying in the race, touting his electability as the only Republican candidate equipped to beat Hillary Clinton in the fall, and hopes his message of "hope" and "inclusion" resonates with Republican voters.

This only makes sense if you can write off campaign donations.

Trump might offer Kasich a future position as the head of a Cabinet-level Department that DJT intends to eliminate completely.

He might qualify for Food Czar.....

Someone here commented last night that Kasich is 4th in a two man race.

I heard that on Fox Business last night. All the host were having fun last night (except for Gasparino! )

“Cruz took the high road by bowing out gracefully.”

That surprised me to no end — the (apparent) graceful bowing out. Still, I do not trust the man one iota. I hate to think what he’ll be doing behind the scenes now to sabotage the effort.

Right now Kasich is looking like the knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail who keeps fighting after losing most of his limbs..."it's only a flesh wound."

Any impartial, objective, common sense, observer can say this about John Kasich....the poor soul is both deranged and, adrift at sea without a paddle. Needs no further mention, other then he really needs meds, real fast!!! Mr. Kasich is a non-player.....period!!!

In support of your graphic - those are the consistent positions taken by Kasich, not isolated events taken out of context:

- Kasich supported and implemented Obamacare’s Medicare expansion http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/john-kasich-bible-medicaid_us_56140a54e4b022a4ce5fb1e3

- Kasich supports Amnesty for illegals. http://www.ontheissues.org/John_Kasich.htm

- Kasich voted for the “Assault” Weapons Ban. https://grabien.com/file.php?id=53463 and as of last year did not regret that vote

- Kasich dismissively said Christian bakers should “bake the cupcake” and participate in a gay parody of the sacrament of marriage, even if it violates their religious beliefs. https://www.frcaction.org/updatearticle/20160225/kasich-pushes

I didn’t save a link on Common Core, but here’s a bonus problem with Kasich:

- Kasich supports Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-kasich-id-consider-nominating-merrick-garland-supreme-court-election-2016/
