E.U. Will Hit Nations Rejecting Refugees With $300,000 Per Head Fine

European nations that turn away refugees could be forced to pay roughly $300,000 in fines for each individual rejected, European Union officials are expected to announce Wednesday.

The plan is part of the European Commission’s plan to overhaul its current asylum rules that neared collapse last year after more than a million refugees and migrants flooded across E.U. borders, the Financial Times reported Tuesday.

The reshuffle is aimed at alleviating the strain on frontline nations, including Greece and Italy, that have grappled to absorb the heavy incursion of migrants.

Officials who saw the proposal in advance said the fine would act as a sanction on nations that refuse to adhere to the E.U.’s asylum system. While the exact penalty is still in flux, a diplomat said that it would amount to “hundreds of thousands of euros.”

The United Kingdom has the option to opt out of the new program.

The Guardian reported:

Under the latest plans, E.U. countries would still be responsible for housing refugees that arrive on their territory, preserving a key principle of existing asylum rules known as the Dublin regulation. Unlike under Dublin, refugees could be dispersed around the EU via a “corrective fairness mechanism” in the event that countries that are the first arrival point are unable to cope.

The penalties are intended to incentivize nations to abide by the currently failed migrant quotas.

That is a system of tyranny. It should be brought down.

Wow! A suicidal decision made in Brussels by unelected politicians, and if a nation refuses to commit suicide they get hit with a huge penalty! Amazing how socialism always ends up as fascism. What a great “Union” this European Union is!

I would tell them to come and collect it!

If this keeps up, it looks like the fog of war is about to descend again on Europe. The problem will be they’ll be killing each other instead of the muzz. Unbelievable what happens when Western Civilization loses its identity and thru socialism/communism the state becomes the new god.

Wonder what that will do for the Brexit vote? That’s in June, right??

Personally if I were head of a EU nation I would be telling Brussels to F.O. and that my nation would be holding a referendum to leave the E.U.

But that’s just me, who knows what those Dhimmi’s will actually do.

Yes, folks. This is my prediction of what’s going to happen.

I just checked the polling which now sits at 45% for leaving, 44% for staying.

For sure the incompetence of Brussels in dealing with terrorists has to be playing a role.

A question:

PRECISELY how do they plan to enforce this?
The army they don’t have?
The six hundred cops they were training last week?

The EUropeans should just tell them to pound sand.

What a great money making idea! You can charge each country trying to safeguard its citizens and preserve its existence for the same invader (”refugee”) they refuse to take.

Now that I am thinking of it, isn’t there about 2-3 million feral parasites here in the US that we could ship to Germany? We’ll call them “Syrians”, yah that’s the ticket....

“Wonder what that will do for the Brexit vote? That’s in June, right??”

The article claims that Britain can opt out, but the timing couldn’t be better.

I wonder if they will collect one single cent of this. Too bad, they will need it to haul off the rubble of their HQ.

This is hilarious. These guys are the best salesmen for the Brexit, the Grexit, and even other nations to leave the EU. They obviously can’t figure out how to find their hindquarters without a road map and a flashlight.

And what if they refuse to pay? It’s like the 98-pound weakling shaking down the football team for their lunch money. Even worse, the team already PAYS for the weakling’s lunch.
