Donald Trump's victory in Indiana came down quick as a guillotine—but even before the election results rolled in, the GOP faithful were jumping ship.

Former John McCain aide Mark Salter declared his allegiance to Hillary Clinton earlier today.

RedState blogger Ben Howe, who's promised to phone bank for Clinton if Trump gets the nomination, followed suit.

Once it became clear that Trump would take Indiana by a landslide, Meghan McCain and Lindsey Graham predicted the party's altogether demise.

I prayed, without ceasing, for four years for our country and, by extension, the political party that I thought would bring a return of America's greater destiny. Around Lent, I got discouraged and thought, "All that prayer? Faith? Trust? For this? Hillary becomes Prsident?" So I stepped back and through grace was given my own pathetic little revelation.

If God could use Adam, who never manned-up but blamed "the woman" for his weakness; Abraham, whose indiscretion is STILL a problem today; and, David, who went out of his way to get a warrior killed so that he could take a new widow, then God could use the likes of Donald Trump. Or anybody else the Holy Spirit picks.

Maybe Gingrich and Buchanan are right... Relax and embrace that which cannot be controlled. It just may turn out alright after all.

I guess that's another good thing about Trump winning - we will find that many 'conservatives" were putting on a show and are now showing their true allegiances.

Principled (and intelligent) conservatives will unite behind Trump to stop Hillary - the real enemy.

As we have proven to ourselves, one cannot win a war if one purposely throws key battles...
