NeverTrump responds to win
Katie Packer, chairwoman of the anti-Trump Our Principles PAC, released this statement in regards to the GOP primary results in Indiana:
“While tonight’s Indiana primary results increased Donald Trump’s delegate count, Trump remains short of the 1,237 delegates needed to win the GOP nomination.
“A substantial number of delegates remain up for grabs in this highly unpredictable year. In addition, there is more than a month before the California primary — more time for Trump to continue to disqualify himself in the eyes of voters, as he did yet again today spreading absurd tabloid lies about Ted Cruz’s father and the JFK assassination.
“We continue to give voice to the belief of so many Republicans that Trump is not a conservative, does not represent the values of the Republican Party, cannot beat Hillary Clinton, and is simply unfit to be president of the United States.
“We will continue to educate voters about Trump until he, or another candidate, wins the support of a majority of delegates to the Convention.”
Good. Maybe, hopefully we can get on with something a little more substantial, like maybe Lyin Hillary and drop the Cruz family involvement in the assassination of JFK.

When Trump was called winnee, Levin said he is very disappointed. Said all conservatives should be. Just asked for Cruz supporters to call in. Wants to know how they feel.

I can sure understand that. The GOP that I kept hoping still existed hasn't been around for years.
As for Trump, he's been quite gracious in post-primary speeches. I sure hope you are able to give him another look. Much of his platform is quite conservative. He's a different style candidate than we're used to, but I truly believe he is pro-America, a very competent, common sense leader, and old enough to remember what it was like growing up in America during what was, in many ways, her better days.

I have major problems with Cruz and his refusal to get out of the race. His joining the stop Trump movement with the GOPe belies his stated status as an outsider. What does he hope to achieve at a contested convention?
Does he really think that getting the nomination at the expense of the guy who has been the front-runner since July; who received millions of votes more than anyone else setting a GOP record for the primaries; won around 30 states; and have more delegates than Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich combined will propel him [Cruz] to victory in November? It will totally divide the GOP alienating the Trump supporters and guaranteeing Hillary a victory. The sooner Cruz gets out the better. I don’t think Cruz is ticking right. He is acting like a petulant child.
