Cruz Explodes: Trump "A Narcissist At A Level I Don't Think This Country Has Ever Seen" (vid)

CRUZ: I'm going to tell you what I really think of Donald Trump. This man is a pathological liar. He doesn't know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth. And in a pattern that I think is straight out of a psychology textbook, his response is to accuse everybody else of lying.

I just watched it on YouTube. When you interview for a job, if you whine and complain and are all negative, you will be very unlikely to get the job. To me, Cruz’s press conference seemed completely unhinged. He seems incapable of turning it off. He must have gone on for 20 minutes about how rotten Trump is. Which has been about 99% of his campaign over the past several weeks. Classic case of a guy who lets his opponent get under his skin. I think voters want to hear a lot more about what the candidate will do and a lot less about what a rat the opponent is. He just seems bitter, extremely negative and unable to move on. I can’t imagine Texas reelecting him in 2018.

You are on to something.

Trump is the father that Cruz never had, his father rejected him and his mother and left them, and now Trump has rejected him as well and he’s showing the fury that he felt and feels.

Everybody who thinks that God is telling them to do something should remember that the Devil is a very good ventriloquist.

I think Trump will take pity on Ted Cruz and create an office of ‘Not Trump’ just for his buddy Ted.

Might be a good time for Cruz to stop constantly attacking the nominee. Just a thought.

you mean other than the three marriages?

How many Americans (voters) have an ex-spouse? Perhaps, a lot more have one than two, but I imagine we are talking tens of millions (including the late Ronald Reagan).

The first one off the top of my head is spreading false stories that Ben Carson was dropping out (a couple weeks before he actually did). Is one example sufficient, or shall we compile a list?

My memory is...
Cruz did not spread the rumors...it was some of his staff.
And Cruz ended up apologizing for his staff on national tv.

i have an example for you... watch cruz’s entire Wisconsin victory speech. Personally it was the biggest turn off. Cruzs personality is not good. I wanted to like him.

Why is Cruz running when he can’t win?

Narcissism.

That is an example of people who were making the ACCUSATION being the liars. I've looked into that. Cruz didn't lie. The people claiming he lied, are the liars.

There really was a report (from CNN, I think) that said Carson was dropping out. The Cruz camp was too quick to seize on it, and they should have contacted Carson directly before making such a statement, but it was not in fact an actual lie.

Is one example sufficient, or shall we compile a list?

One will do, when you actually come up with a real example. But of course now since you have come up with a fabricated example, I'll have to hear two examples from you to give you a +1 score on it.

Well, I've seen the report of him admitting to it (and rather pointlessly apologizing for it after the damage was done).

Cruz apologizes for spreading rumor about Carson dropping out

3 marriages isn’t indicative of a socially chaotic individual. Particularly for someone nearly 70 years old.

And yeah, we actually do know quite a bit about his social relations, given what his kids and people who work him say, etc.

The last time some junior Senator whose supporters claimed he was the Messiah and was a Harvard lawyer with a questionable citizenship talked like that we got Obama. Different party, same attitude.

Ted is projecting. Again.

Absolute truth, and the sign of a deeply disturbed individual.

I think he might hope so, but it is not very likely. The Trump phenomena has created a preference cascade, and at this point it is just mob psychology. You can't turn a mob with reason. You pretty much can't turn them with anything. They just have to come to their senses on their own. Usually after it's too late to matter.

Substitute Cruz for Trump and you got it right. The Cruzbots cannot accept the results of the voters. Cruz is not going to be the nominee. Why is he still in the race? Why is Kasich still in the race?
