- a promoter of the Dread Traitor John Roberts
I don't think anything happened to him. Rather, the vetting process of the primary season has been long enough to see who he really is.
He's determined and clever (for the most part) but doesn't seem to be particularly likable.
But I think his true colors came out the further behind he got. He would go to any length to try to achieve the nomination but stayed within the rules, as much as many of us disagree with them.
in the process, he came across as manipulative and as trying to thwart the will of the primary voters. I'm not saying that he actually WANTED to circumvent voters but it gave that appearance. Nobody likes that.
I just think Cruz is being Cruz and that seems to be increasingly off putting to a lot of people.
It also could be that the establishment cut him some sort of back room deal to hang on like he's hanging on. I hope that was the case because it might make him seem less objectionable.
I’m seeing the Cruz Crash phenomenon as the difference between the outer persona versus the inner one. Whereas Trump projects a bully persona, Cruz initially staged himself as the intellectual Constitutional Scholar. But little by little, Cruz’ inner bully came out. And the difference between the crafted persona and his actions couldn’t be more vast.
What the hell happened? I think Cruz was always that way - he just didn’t have the strength of will to lock up his inner bully forever.
It's a strange thing. A year ago, I was one of Ted Cruz's biggest boosters here. I wholeheartedly supported him for the presidency.
Same for me...up till March 14, 2016..then I switched him of in so many ways
Today, I just want him to go away.
Alas if it could only be true...
I still think he’d make a good SCOTUS judge. Books are his forte, not people.
All he’s done is show you who he is at the core.
Cruz is a fraud and always has been . all the evidence is there on Google and many like me who have seen it for years. Cruz is a liar not a conservative not even an American but a Canadian(lie #1 out of a million)
