With Indiana primary voters headed to the polls in less than 24 hours, Ted Cruz said he will "absolutely" have a path to victory even if he loses the next GOP presidential nominating contest.
"We intend to do absolutely everything possible to win tomorrow. It's gonna be up to the people of Indiana," Cruz told ABC News while campaigning in Osceola, Indiana. "The polls have been all over the place. There has literally been a 30-point swing depending on what poll you are looking at. We are neck-and-neck right now in the state of Indiana."

At what point do even the most ardent Cruz supporters finally come to grips with reality? Ted can’t win.
I know the day before the 7th or 8th make or break election you can’t tell the people the truth and risk them not showing up at the polls but this this is over.... Even should Cruz win. (Which he won’t) Trump will still easily get over 1237.

Absolutely. These radio hosts who have gone gonzo for Cruz are probably going to pay a big price. Not because they supported Cruz, but because they were so psycho about it. Dana, Beck, and Levin will be lucky if they ever get the listenership they once had.
Trump just won 6 states that represent 25% of the total US population by grabbing roughly 60% of the vote in them in a 3 way race. Trump is not going to be denied the nomination under any scenario based in reality,and certainly will not be denied the nomination for someone who’s only win east of the Mississippi was ME and is coming in last place in a three way race as often as not in the home stretch.
Yes there will be some who would love to deny Trump the nomination no matter what, but they will be the minority, the majority see the writing on the wall. Deny Trump and the party is destroyed, the electorate will abandon them for at least a decade or two.
We aren’t talking about a convention where the delegate difference is a 100 votes or less. Cruz got blown out, there is no scenario based in reality where Trump is not the nominee.

I appreciate that Cruz still believes he can win, but reality is setting in. Trump isn’t far from 1237. Best thing Cruz can do is keep up the fight and the minute Trump hits the number, pledge his support and delegates to Trump.
Between Trump’s delegates and Cruz’s pledged delegates, the GOPe is neutered, which was the goal from the beginning. Also, I like watching Trump up his game. This nomination process is what he needed to prepare for Clinton.

One would hope that the next congress will work with President Trump to clarify the meaning of the Constitution so that future usurpers can be held up to scrutiny and exposed as a condition of running for office.
Insufferable Mr Cruz, and to think I supported you in my states primary ( before you sided with rioters in Illinois). You sir are willing to place personal political gain above our national sovereignty.
