Like when Trump called Dr. Ben Carson pathological to stop his bleeding in Iowa? But it worked though, right? Trump ended up in a virtual 3-way tie for 1st in Iowa.
Here's the thing about Trump that you should be appreciative of: He plowed the road for Cruz. He took out Carson (who has all the energy of that cartoon character Droopy), he took out Bush, and he took out Rubio, using blunt-force alpha male tactics.
If Trump hadn't run, Cruz would be nowhere. I mean literally, he would be debating in the Senate right now. The GOPe would have told him to step aside so Jeb can be the nominee.
