This will not work out well for Cruz.

You should try and talk some sense into those clinging to a contested convention - those so wedded to Ted they are unable to see reality any longer.

If anyone can break through to them, I believe it is you.

Hewitt has the worst record of predicting elections of anybody. Now he’s math challenged too.

So I guess Carly - the destoyer of jobs wasn’t a good pic.

Carly can't help it, she just fell for Ted.

“Hewitt said he went state-by-state and gave Trump very generous amounts of delegates in his projection,”

Hewitt is another radio show I used to listen to. He just has to much RINO in his blood for me. I have not listened in years and now I hear he has gone to a morning show.

If Indiana doesn't finish off Cruz, California will.

That isn't Cruz-bashing, just cold hard reality.

Cruz and Kasich are setting a rather annoying precedent. Because the media and stabs hate Trump so much they haven’t been howling for Crtuz or Kasich to drop out. So I don’t wanna hear a peep out of them in four years if someone like Cruz stays in well past any viable chance. That’s right folks. From now on everyone can stay in till the convention even if they have no chance. UnprecedenTED.

Yes. This race has gone from cliff-hanger to rout (in terms of 1237) in a week.

The betting is now on Trump to win the Nebraska primary, and that wasn't even considered a reasonable possibility a week ago.

When you put these state polls alongside the national polls, it's clear. The people have decided.

“Hewitt said he went state-by-state and gave Trump very generous amounts of delegates in his projection, including 51 of 59 of Indiana’s slate. Trump needs 392 delegates to clinch the nomination. Hewitt said Trump probably wouldn’t get any delegates in Nebraska, South Dakota, or Montana, which means in 14 out of the 15 contests left, the billionaire would only get 273–and it’s doubtful he will do well in California, in which he would need to win 119 of the 172 delegates in that contest”
_____________________________

Hewitt is in a parallel universe.

Trump currently has 1002 delegates.

If Trump gets 273 delegates according to Hewitt’s estimate that means Trump gets 1275 delegates. End of discussion.

Trump will get more like 1300-1400 delegates!

Hewitt was the guy who kept saying Trump was never going to win because there was no way he would break 50%.

If Cruz had dropped out after NY, or even after the ACELA primaries, he still could have gotten some K Street lobbying gig.

By extending himself as he has, he will come out of this as nothing more than the punch line for some standup comedians’ bad jokes.

Actually this is great that the media isn’t howling for Cruz/Kasich to drop out. They can’t turn around and demand Bernie drops out too. Bernie has as much right to stay in for as long as they do.

Cruz being stubborn like this will burn down any hope he has for the future for elected office

No one likes Trump..... except those sometimes pesky people called voters.

It well past time that everyone, from Portland, Maine to Pomona, can read the tea leaves: Trump is a winner.

For many of us, Trump was not our first choice a year ago. However, he is now the absolutely best change to beat the Hildabeast... and that’s good enough for me.

To give you an idea of my leanings, my two favorite
treasured political buttons and slogans are:

He’s Tan, He’s Rested, He’s Ready
Nixon-’92

and

Nixon - 2000
He’s Not As Stiff As Gore.

Interesting...I live here, the only Trump supporters I know...are on FR.

Not sure what part of California you live in, but where I live, this is no surprise. And frankly the paid agitators last week holding Mexican flags and assault Trump supporters and police, didn't help.

Last night there was a mini Cinco de Mayo riot in Stockton. The Facebook page reporting it was full of people with hispanic last names lamenting that this was just making them look worse. The mood in my part of California is certainly not for Cruz.
