We've been waiting for Rush to come to his senses and tell Cruz to get out of the race.
Well, listen to Limbaugh's monologue on Friday:
It's time, it's time now to realize that Fantasy Island, the plane never really landed, you're still circling, and it isn't gonna land. There's no Herve VIllechaize down there waiting to greet you with a mimosa. Just return to your state.
And of course he will not do this because in his mind, I mean, he's gonna be the nominee. You realize he is playing out a fantasy here, he's living a fantasy. He's living the fantasy of him being elected president. I don't know whether he knows it's not gonna happen or I don't know how grounded he is in this.
But, you know, you start firing the confetti gun after an election when you win your own state and you start running around talking the way he is, I think he's going through the motions.
He wants to be able to have pictures, videos, thoughts, a memoir about his presidential campaign and how close he came and so forth. So I doubt that he will accede to the request or admonition to get out, but she has made it.
Rush finally speaks the words we wanted to hear -- except these were a call for Kasich to get out of the race and not Cruz.
Sad. As the rest of us celebrate the imminent nomination of Donald Trump -- the greatest conservative candidate since Reagan -- the "Big Voice on the Right" is making excuses for someone who aims to destroy Trump and pave the way for Hillary.
Rush's true colors are shining through: a traitor to the cause and an accomplice to Golden Sachs and the globalists.
Imagine: ruining his reputation for a few extra sacks of gold. Sad, but unfortunately true.

Agree 100%. There are people here who hear 1 word, take it as a slight against their guy and melt down totally. I hardly recognize FR this election cycle.
Is that you, Rush?
Actually, he did say it.
Stopped listening to el Rushbo about 2 months ago. Was too darn aggravating.
It is hard indeed to imagine that Trump, the builder of big things, would not want to build the wall. A magnificant wall that would rival the great wall of China!
It's time for a changing of the guard in conservative radio. Hope some new Trump-friendly blood arises to make radio worth listening to again. Though I still like Michael Savage and Hannity.
