She’s going to “buy” them off with empty promises ala “Great Society” which put W.Virginians on welfare forever and did nothing to offer them any job outside of coal mining. Now she has promised to close the mines for good and will “take care of them”. WV is looking at 100% government support and control if she wins.

That’s how this game works....you get the folks hooked on OPM and then they keep voting you into office.
What these Dem voters are realizing....or care about....is that eventually, you run out of OPM. Guess who WON’T suffer when that happens? The politicians.
