South Bend is a city in and the county seat of St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States, on the St. Joseph River near its southernmost bend, from which it derives its name. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total of 101,168 residents; its Metropolitan Statistical Area had a population of 318,586 and Combined Statistical Area of 721,296. It is the fourth-largest city in Indiana, serving as the economic and cultural hub of Northern Indiana. The highly ranked University of Notre Dame is located just to the north in unincorporated Notre Dame, Indiana and is an integral contributor to the region's economy.

The area was originally settled in the early 19th century by fur traders and was established as a city in 1865. The St. Joseph River shaped South Bend's economy through the mid-20th century. River access assisted heavy industrial development such as that of the Studebaker Corporation, the Oliver Chilled Plow Company, and other large corporations.

Rex Early the campaign chairman for Indiana Trump Campaign lives in Carmel. He has great pull in the community.
Expect someone or someone’s made it available to the campaign.
Many IU grads in the area. Lots of hospitals with IU trained medical staff. Lots of national offices of insurance companies with Kelly School of business- IU grads
Wondering if the General will show up in Carmel

South Bend is Notre Dame and leans toward football Bobby would have less impact there

You know what really gripes me about the media... and make no mistake of it, they want the narrative be that Trump is a con man...is that Trump goes to these great places, that have a history, like the Indiana Theater where Jack Benny, Bob Hope and others played. Beautiful architecture, and today the Palladium...and they won’t show it.

You can Google Trump with just about anyone and a photo pops up.

Had no idea South Bend was so far north in Indiana.

Yeah, the St. JOe's goes below the state line, then goes back up to MI. While it's in IN, they sure take advantage of it. 4 dams.... No. 1 is a toughy... You can always right click then properties for the answer..

On Question 2, Chad Everett, I didn’t read the question thoroughly:

Two of his shows/characters:

Dr. Joe Gannon on “Medical Center” (TV)

Steve Kovac in “Combat” TV—my favorite show as a pre-teen.

Wow—what an operation.

Do you think the Diebold machines are going to be a factor tomorrow?

Anything that has Cruz close or winning has to be fraud—no one shows up to his events, even on weekends.

Trump on CNN, getting hostile questioning. Lots of attention on "Hillary plays woman card," and "Hillary doesn't deal well with men who go off the reservation."

Now being asked about agitators in California with the Trump balloon/effigy in California, what is your message to them? Trump brings up he had people on stage who had family members who were killed by illegal immigrants, 31,000 people in attendance and was a lovefest. He could lead a bigger parade.

As for how he intends to get those people in his tent, he is going to create jobs. Says unemployment is really 20%. The race is about jobs and the economy. He thinks many of the younger Bernie Sanders people will come his way.

Trump knows he is dealing with a hostile venue, he is filibustering, LOL.

Questioner repeats the question "how?" four times, as Trump is describing bringing jobs back.

CNN says, on the wall, what about the tunnels? Now wonders why Trump didn't tweet about Obama's remarks at the correspondent's dinner. Trumps says he thought the remarks were fine (but doesn't add in that the venue was comedy), says he does lots of foreign deals.

He says he didn't show up at the dinner because the press would report it dishonestly, as Trump having a miserable time. In 2011 he said he'd had a great time, and the press reported he was humiliated and made miserable.

Last question is comparative Hillary/Trump on experience with dealing with foreign leaders. Trumps says you (personally to his questioner) are creating this phony pushback. Trump brings up Benghazi, Syria, Libya, Iran deal, awful deals.

Pretty long interview, reaction next, I'm going for a walk. Very very hostile interview on CNN. Trump handled it well.

I don't recall hearing about it at the time (Friday?) but the local radio talk show host was talking about Hillary's ‘reservation’ comment this morning. Apparently it blew up on social media. Said that a staffer was the one who put the apology out on social media; people are complaining the apology should have been issued by Clinton herself.

Not sure if it's Native Americans who are upset, or other people upset on their behalf.

I saw that - yes, it was pretty hostile, but Trump was good. Lol - he filibusters well! The interviewer did end it surprisingly friendly, after all was said and done. And he did let Trump do a lot of talking.

I then switched to Morning Joe. They were fabulous! Joe and Mika were both completely disgusted with Crooze. It was pretty enjoyable to watch. They were almost making fun of him.

Graphic compliments of Albion from another thread. Don, Eric and wives at correspondent's dinner in DC.

Thanks for the informative thread Nik.. is your tummy all recovered for overloading with all the goodies from your Easter celebrations?

It is fun to watch the energy with each rally.. even though to us much of the presentation is repetitious for the attendees, who have for the most part not heard live or archived rallies, all is fresh and fun

got my Rally box from Trump store Fri and wore to Wine with girls that late afternoon. People walking by struck up conversations and lots of Trump enthusiasm. I know when my couple friends first saw the hat, I think they were afraid we would be mocked by others..

This fourth day of rainy weather is impacting my already sore back. Might have to wait a few days for chiropractor as his mom died on Friday and not sure when his office hours will be/resume.

In INdiana, Trump was really funny. He said, “EVery interview I do, is like a war.”

I thought that was funny.

I really love this:

I’m going to keep posting it, for people to watch if they haven’t.

Chris Cuomo, yes, he did allow Trump plenty of room to talk. It was a long interview. And he did manage to keep his temper after being called dishonest. It was a good interview, I'm glad Trump gets hard and sometimes unfair questions. Answering softball questions doesn't engage his ability.
