Chuck Todd got very frustrated with Ted Cruz over the Republican candidate refusing to answer his questions over and over. Every day Cruz gets a little more desperate and frantic.

That is all he's got left. Debating tricks. Several times he repeated like a mantra, "Donald and Hillary" as if they were running mates. Nice try, college boy, but way to obvious and off-putting. I too thought for awhile he was coming unglued, but now I realize, Cruz isn't crazy, he's just shallow-- about an inch deep-- this is all he's got.

If Cruz isn’t mentally ill he’s studied how to behave as if he is far more than he’s studied how to interact with human beings who don’t worship him.

That is all Ted has done. All he does is argue. We need someone offering solutions.
The best campaign strategy for Trump is to let Ted continue to talk.
....AND if it weren’t for the pimps for Trump he would be accountable for more than he has been. Just in this interview, it seems that Cruz is sticking to his principles while Trump has changed his. Trump just may be the chameleon that people won’t see his true colors until it’s too late.
Would be a lot easier to push that premise if Tead wasn’t destroying himself at the time.

Tead isn’t selling his policies. He’s selling a dark version of Trump and hoping it will benefit him.
Look, I agree with going negative. You have to to a point.
Tead has become fixated on Trump, and he doesn’t even get how unbecoming that is at some point. He’s over the top on Trump.
Quit trying to lay this off on others. Tead is his own worst enemy, and people at Free Republic are not at fault for recognizing what a screwed up guy Tead actually is.

Nah...Cruz is simply smart enough to not allow himself to be “Todd Akin’d” by the mainstream media and, of course, the mainstream media gets steamed & frustrated about their resulting failures. Trump is also showing the proper level of caution to avoid being entrapped by the media.

It’s Silly Season. It just started early this year. You see, the opponent is not Hillary. It is CRUZ.
He's in way over his head. Once upon a time, I thought he might be a competitive contender for president--but the more I learn about him, the less I can support him. He can't give any reason to vote for him, all he can do is complain about Trump. Meanwhile, Trump shows by his quick thinking and deft handling of the press that he is uniquely suited for the job.
I think I first became aware of Trump's intellect when he gave out Lindsey Graham's (I think) cell phone number, and among people whining about that, someone thought to give out Trump's cell phone number to get even with him. Instead of whining and so forth, Trump recorded a message thanking people for their interest in his campaign and directing them to his website. It was brilliant!
Maybe, but Trump was honest about it. He said, in debate # 1 or # 2, that is how politics work. You make contributions to politicians on both sides and maybe they come to your wedding. If you need their help on a project, you can give them a call. That is how it works and the politicians set it up.
How did the other candidates and Megan Kelly rat? did they say no, that is not how politics works and you are corrupt.

Trump lifted the lid on what was brewing in the political world. It was not pretty. Cruz is very much part of the world.
