Extremists "re-framing" the mere recognition of which sex a child is at the time of birth through fantasy, logical fallacy, playing on emotions and pressing guilt buttons.
This isn't what happens but secular humanists want people buying into their fiction of it, and for this false memory to be taken as reality.
They call it "infant gender assignment," and want to cast it as a harmful, unnatural, and unneeded treatment.
The author here, who seems likely to identify as transgender, compares parents who allow it to adults leaving a baby in a hot car to buy groceries.

Acknowledging the indoor or outdoor plumbing of a newborn is a nonissue.

It’s very important to declare homosexuals and transgender advocates as mentally ill and unfit for many roles in society (teacher, for one). They are mentally ill and they should be told that.
The doctor didn’t “assign” the childs gender. God and the childs DNA did that. The doctor is only recording the blindingly obvious. Liberals seem to have a problem with this thing known as “reality”. Now what do we call those who refuse to live within the bounds of reality? Oh yeah, that’s right- We call them delusional.

Human desconstuctionism. To the sickest on the left, there is no truth, even genetic, biologic, and anatomical truth. This is true depravity. The next logical step in this madness, of course, if to raise the child as a lab rat. Dress him in girls clothing, force him to play with dolls, never cut his hair. Punish him when he acts like a boy. And, the flip side must be done to female children. This is what they want, because that is the ONLY logical outgrowth of what is suggested in the article.
Soon, they will implanting computer chips in the children that will control their behaviors as they process through the indoctrination camps once known as public schools. The white children will be taught to hate their own existence while the non-white children will be taught that society owes them. White girls will be programmed to have mulatto children under the guise of “fairness” while the white boys will be programmed to become homosexuals and transgenders.
Think it’s crazy? So did our forefathers think about the idea of gay marriage.

Perhaps the article is referring to those rare cases (1 in a few thousand) where it is not obvious at birth whether “it has a penis” or not.

Talk about an emotional whiplash pity piece.
If there is something that obviously wrong with the baby, such as too small penis or deformed genitals, the mother is “not at piece”. And they don’t let you sit there in bliss, surprise you to take the kid for surgery with no warning and give platitudes. There are repeated consultations, reviews, long discussions with parents over days to decide what to do. (Speaking as a parent who had a child with a birth defect, though not this type.)
There is no “oh, everything is perfect” whiplash to “the baby needs major surgery, shut up and give it to us” unless the baby is in distress at delivery, which is pretty freaking obvious.
