Cruz was the only candidate I supported financially during the primary process and now I am embarrassed for doing so. He looks more clownish by the day.
There is nothing to be embarrassed about. You supported him, because initially he appeared to be a serious conservative.
But as more information about him came to light, it also makes sense to stop supporting him.
Also, initially it wasn’t clear that Trump was serious, but there also, as time went on, it became clear that he, Trump has a conservative agenda and is truly working to “make America great again” — which is more than just a slogan.

Don’t be.. it’s like donating to a church, only to find out the Reverend is skimming money and fooling around. Camp Cruz did a good sell job on everybody.
It is the desperation of a campaign. He sees the internal polls, is starting to get calls from friends telling him to think twice about a convention challenge. He has a plan in place to grab delegates for a second vote and now that is being rejected by votes who don't like that sort of shenanigans.
Elections are a big test of people under pressure.
Deception is Cruz’s M.O.—you will be a lot harder to trick next time.
I get very jumpy when politicians are bible thumpers. Some are for real, but many are just liars and sociopaths.
We need high tech lie detectors to help us figure out what is really in their hearts and minds.
