As he said, Cruz was about to hit a “rough patch” a couple of weeks ago, an understatement worthy of the Iron Lady herself.

I'll tell you fine people one thing, I am getting damned sick and tired of the remaining, diehard fanatical CruzBots wailing and whining about how everyone else here has to kiss their ass, give them milk and cookies, and read them Green Eggs & Ham or other bedtime stories to sooth their bruised widdle feelings, if we are to even HOPE to have them voting AGAINST Hillary Rotten Criminal in the Fall. They're not genuine conservatives, no matter how many times their preferred candidate can use "Jesus" in a sentence. Conservatism is, first and foremost, a philosophy of personal responsibility. These posters don't want to take responsibility for their own votes, come November; they demand that you make their votes YOUR responsibility.
Don't. Do. It.

Great post. How many times can you ask yourself, what the hell is wrong with this guy? This is beyond being desperate. He is crazy, there is no other explanation for his behavior. Seriously. I feel sorry for his daughters.

Ted is inciting it by saying that...just like the liberal media, oh, and Johnny Kasich with his ‘when you live in negativity” or however he said it in regards to the ‘protesters’ in Costa Mesa.

And I am getting damned sick and tired of Cruz being smeared and his supporters being trashed because they don't trust Donald Trump and don't want him as POTUS.
You have a right to your opinion but so do I.
If Trump is the nominee and you want him to even have a chance to win the general election- It would be a good idea for you and the rest of his supporters disbanded your membership in TBBB- Known from here on out as Trump's Bridge Burning Brigade.
You are making sure Trump will lose the general election.

Yes, Gov. Mike Pence.

I started this election cycle as a strong Cruz supporter.
I end it believing he is a truly despicable human being.

Cruz is going to take this very hard. I hope his loved ones watch him closely through the next couple of weeks while Cruz decides what to do with the rest of his life.<<<<
I think you are right about that Wendle. And, it will be more than just a couple of weeks.
I think he has a lot more tied up in this mentally, emotionally and spiritually than most people are aware of. His entire LIFE has ridden on this moment, everything he is, and everything he ever thought he could/would be.
This man has severe mental issues, and it’s beginning to become apparent to the average person who isn’t particularly sensitive to this kind of problem. If the non-sensitive are seeing it loud and clear, then it’s time to RUN from this guy. Don’t walk, RUN. Focus yur energy on a doable, positive result.
That’s how the party would be ‘united’.

Al Gore went through the same thing. I don’t think he’s ever gotten over not being elected President.

Picking Carly, this...and yet the main stream media is not buoying Ted.
If at first you don’t succeed...maybe use the ladies room?
Good luck Ted.

The important goal, the real goal, is to beat Hillary. The odds of that decrease every day that Cruz stays in the race and forces trump to campaign against him. It deletes time, energy, strategy, focus.
I do not know how essential it is to have Cruz’s supporters. If they could take their votes back, I bet at least 1/3 to 1/2 of them likely would. So we are talking about a few million votes.
Of that few million, more than 1/2 of the votes are from Texas and Oklahoma (1.5 million). Trump wins both states easily.
So really Ted has about 1.5 -1.8 million votes spread out among states that are solidly republican.
Cruz brings little to the table in terms of voters. He loses very badly, every county and congressional district in every single swing state. Trump wins those.
What votes can Cruz bring from any state that Trump needs?

What an asshole.

Well unfortunately, your opinion is 100 percent wrong. And nobody smeared Cruz but Cruz himself with his poor choice of campaign staff and running that campaign as if he were running for school body President, not President of the United States. You would rather see Hillary in the White House than to admit that your boy Cruz is a loser.
You're just like the GOPe and George Will, you would prefer to see Trump lose, in their case it's because they can't stand the thought of losing their personal political power and influence, in your case it's because you and your ilk can't get over your "wah-wah-wahs" about Trump cleaning Cruz' clock and mathematically eliminating him.
If Trump is the nominee and you want him to even have a chance to win the general election- It would be a good idea for you and the rest of his supporters disbanded your membership in TBBB- Known from here on out as Trump's Bridge Burning Brigade. You are making sure Trump will lose the general election.
Why? You've already stated "you don't trust Trump" and "don't want him as POTUS" do you really expect anyone to believe such outlandish bullshit, that if you were somehow able to muzzle Trump and/or his supporters that it would make you reconsider your stated "mistrust" of Trump and that you would vote for him anyway?
"Trump Bridge Burning Brigade", give me a freakin' break, if there is any bridge burning going on, you Cruznadians brought the torches and started juggling them like a bad circus act.

If Ted thinks this, then he has to drop out to stop the riots. Man up Ted.
