Donald Trump won the Arizona Republican primary with 47% of the vote to second place Ted Cruz with 25%.
But that didn’t stop the Cruz campaign and GOP elites from coming in and poaching all of the delegates at today’s state convention. The Cruz camp and GOP elites call this a “good ground game.”
Even former Governor Jan Brewer, an outspoken Trump supporter, had her name removed from the online ballot and did not make the cut.

Unfortunately he is going to have to deal with Cruzie delegates throughout the convention. This is going to be a circus run by Ted.

Cruz goes around saying if Trump is the nominee Hillary will win. Well if Cruz steals the nomination at a contested convention those millions of Trump voters are not going “well ok, I’ll vote Cruz”. They will write in Trump, go 3rd party or stay home. So if anything a Cruz nomination assures Hillary of a win in the general. Right now a vote for Cruz is a vote for Hillary, which by the way most of the GOPe is fine with President Hillary.
Nothing illegal, immoral or fattening happened here. The delegates will vote as bound on the first ballot. More whining by Trump minions and their ilk.

It seems to me that the news agencies reporting the delegate counts are not readjusting any of the earlier results. They are just relying on the original rules of the various caucuses and primaries to assign delegates.

Cruz is all over Sunday morning talk shows...how anyone can listen to this man and NOT understand what a con man he is does NOT want to see it. He used to use the same double talk lawyereeze when Levin would interview him and Levin just ate it up and made excuses.

The “allegiances” only apply to a second ballot effort. Bound delegates can’t change their vote on the first ballot.
It looks like Trump is trending big in Indiana. Pence is a popular governor in Indiana but even more popular is Bobby Knight!!! Would not be surprised if Trump wins by very close to 20 points in Indiana.
