GREENFIELD, Ind. — At a campaign stop just days before the critical Indiana primary, Heidi Cruz, wife of Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, said one of her husband's strengths in the campaign is that he "is an immigrant."

"Ted is an immigrant," Mrs. Cruz said, emphasizing the word "is." "He is Hispanic."

most people see candidates like McCain and Cruz (both of whom spent their lives living in American neighborhoods, studying in American schools)
    Two premises without supporting evidence
  1. Cruz did not spend his life living in American neighborhoods. He spend the first four years of his life living in Canada where he was born to a Cuban (not American) father and an American mother. Heidi Cruz has characterized him as a Hispanic immigrant to the United States, and she knows his life story better than either of us.
  2. There is no evidence presented on how most people see Cruz, other than most people don't like him.

Here are two unassailable points of logic that the New World Order types like you always run from:

Point 1. The adjective "natural" in the phrase "natural born Citizen" must not be superfluous and without contributing further significant restrictive meaning to the phrase it modifies, therefore a natural born Citizen must be a significantly restricted subset of born citizen (citizen at birth). Clearly the two phrases (citizen at birth and natural born Citizen) must mean significantly different things with the latter being a restrictive subset of the former. To suggest otherwise is insulting to the deliberate, articulate elegance of the founders who meticulously crafted the Constitution.

Point 2. Three inherent characteristics at birth are generally considered to contribute to citizenship and to one's natural allegiances, these being: the citizenship of one's father, the citizenship of one's mother and the land of one's birth. The founders' explicit stated purpose of restricting the presidency to only natural born Citizens was to provide a strong check to prevent the republic from falling prey to a presidency (and military) subverted by foreign influence and intrigue. It strains all logic and common sense to beyond credulity to suggest that the founders would believe that a strong check would be provided by requiring just one of these characteristics (the least restrictive combination) rather than all three (the most restrictive combination).

Well, there's your argument. Certainly everyone wants "to prevent the republic from falling prey to a presidency (and military) subverted by foreign influence and intrigue" All you need do is to sell people on the idea that if we are to prevent those things, we are required to adopt your narrow definition of natural born citizen.

But, I will suggest again that you find appropriate examples. You aren't going to get anywhere suggesting that folks like McCain or Cruz are tools of foreign governments. And, to be honest with you, I don't think it's likely that you'll ever find a useful example. Voters and their electors have no intention of choosing anyone with real ties to foreign governments. There is no real danger. Prince Charles isn't going to run for president.

But, be patient - maybe a scary candidate will come along someday. And, then, people might listen. Good job!!

Why didn’t Cruz reveal that he was a Canadian citizen before, or at least during, the Senatorial election?

Ask him or his father.
As I recall he feigned innocence

If a politician will hide something as fundamental as of which country he is a citizen, on what basis can you justify sealed files? The American people have no idea what’s in Cruz’ Consular File, and according to him, neither does he. Why is that file not unsealed, so that voters can learn the truth?

Cruz and Rafael Sr lie pathologically. Asking them would be an exercise in futility. The pertinent files should be unsealed.

Oh really
You say a Christian Minister is a ‘pathological liar’?
That is pretty strong language.

Where did Rafael Sr get his ministerial training? What is the name and contact info of the church he pastors?

Well if you’re going to challenge me for stating the truth, you should know what you’re talking about. Rafael Sr attended no seminary or Bible college of any description. He has no ministerial training. He does not have, nor has ever had, a congregation which he pastors. Like Al Sharpton, he uses the title and adds it to his resume.

Alphabet soup after a name doesn’t prove the message.
An easy retort would be the apostles were a bunch of fishermen.
Ivy league has gotten us what?

The Apostles didn’t create a series of shell companies [for the purpose of self enrichment] and give themselves grandiose titles in each one. Another thing the Apostles didn’t do was teach that we are all kings. The Apostolic teaching is that there is one King—Jesus.

One other thing about the Apostles; they spent three years as disciples at the feet of Jesus. That is why, among other things, none of them subsequently promulgated the false teachings of Dominionism.

There are several definitions for dominionism.
Which are false? in your opinion.

What is the office Rafael is seeking?

I already stated a major false teaching of Dominiinism. We are NOT all kings. There is one King, Jesus.

Look, you are the one who brought Rafael Sr into the discussion. Then you claimed my characterization of him was harsh bc he is a “minister.” If you didn’t want to discuss Rafael Sr, you shouldn’t have brought him up.

Btw, are you aware Rafael Sr also styles himself a “professor”? Do you believe he’s a real professor, yes or no?

I believe you are referencing sevenmountain dominionism.

You might want to ask Bachmann, Palin, Rushdoony, etc. their definitions.
Aprofessor meaning ‘one who has professed his religious beliefs’?
Words mean things....
