Jon Huntsman now says he supports Donald Trump's bid for the White House, calling on the rest of the GOP to rally behind the Republican presidential hopeful.
The former governor of Utah told Politico: "We've had enough intraparty fighting. Now's the time to stitch together a winning coalition..."
Huntsman's endorsement and others signify a rare shift for the GOP elite, who have been scrambling to stop Trump for a while. But the fear of a contested and potentially very ugly convention in July has caused some GOP leaders to speak out in favor of Trump...

I read with sadness that Abby Huntsman is engaged to be married.
That she would choose someone her own age rather than enjoy the benefits and favors that a 60 year old can confer seems short-sighted IMHO.

Jon Huntsman adds to the growing list of GOP elite supporting Trump So, I see that some of the GOPe fleas are jumping over to the new dog, probably in order to secure the best location for blood-sucking.

Trump said in his speech Tuesday night that he and his campaign were getting calls from people you wouldn’t believe would be calling him to join his campaign.
He said that we would know who they are very soon.
Interesting.

The question is why do people criticize Cruz for supposedly allying with the establishment, but Trump isn’t criticized for getting support from Christie, Giuliani and now Huntsman? If their support is deemed to tell us someone is a bad candidate who’s in cahoots with the establishment, why isn’t that rule equally applied to all candidates?

Very interesting, considering Huntsman, Sr and Stabby Beck are very close.

"And yet when Tead was sucking up to them, you didnt agree with that at all." Uhh, excuse me. TRUMP is not sucking up to anyone, let alone Huntsman. Huntsman just wants to 'get in on the bandwagon'... CRUZ has NO bandwagon.

When the going got rough, Cruz ran for shade beneath the Bush family's skirt ruffles. It made him look like a willing sycophant of the establishment he'd been railing against so loudly.
The people coming over to the Trump camp are rationally suing for peace with a shred of dignity now that the inevitable is - inevitable. Trump is graciously welcoming them into the fold, but you can bet he'll be the one setting the terms of the relationship.
The difference should be pretty self-explanatory.

Here’s another one Professor.
You can’t say it’s unanimous verdict for Cruz where liberal RINO scum are concerned. It’s “pick your poison” for them

Even a lot of the “elites” have seen reason - when will the “Cruz to the bitter end-ers” (and Hillary in the WH) wake up?

That’s my opinion, based on the GOPe we have to tolerate. Jeff Sessions in the senate, 3 or 4 in the house worth a spit!
