Well, he would know.
Need to ask Kelly Bryan if he was raped as a little boy. Seems that a lot of queers were.
Who would choose to be an alcoholic or a child molester?
born insane
“I simply wanted it to be answered that gay people are born gay and that it is not a lifestyle or chosen because why would anyone choose to be gay?” he asked, adding, “He had to cop to saying, gay people are, his word, ‘probably are born that way’ and that was probably the winningiest point and that was my first question.”
Can I just point out, that nobody really knows what causes homosexuality. There are many theories, and people speculate that there could be a “gay” gene, or that something happens in utero. But nobody knows for sure. It’s propaganda to state flatly that homosexuals are “born that way”. Our cultural leaders have decided that this is how the subject of homosexuality should be perceived, but in actuality, nobody knows why some people are that way.
Guess idiots like you are born that way.
Every "gay person" would have it...they don't even find it..
Gayness is a learned behavior...
Some males are more effeminate than others, but that doesn't mean they are predisposed to be gay...
Kasich is a gutless worm..
Such an important issue. sarc/
People can be born with a propensity toward certain kinds of mental illness. That doesn’t change the nature of it.
Gay bad eaters are NOT IMO born that way.
Gee, it doesn’t sound like Kelly Bryan really deserved a serious answer.
Are rapists born that way, or simply taught to be rapists by our schools and their parents?
There comes a point when the question is an academic exercise. Revisioning a serious problem doesn’t make that problem go away, just means you don’t have to treat it.
Nature or Nurture? Little from column A a little from column B. For some both.
I have no problem letting them live quietly without public (including the media) displays. That I can’t abide. Nor can I abide prosthelytizing on minors or letting them raise children.
The whole in your face pride thing is disgusting and wrong. If they had self pride they wouldn’t be doing my what they do.
Being born that way was invented by the lawyers fighting for gay rights. Up until it had been ‘deemed’ genetic they kept losing cases because being was seen as a choice.
Then the lawyers (AClU?) decided to make it genetic so that they could claim minority rights.
Many gays admit to being molested as children.
In fairness to Kasich he’s correct to say “I don’t know”. None of us do. Scripture would simply point to it as sin, giving no explanation as to why or how a particular sin develops. “There is no one who is righteous...not even one.”
Freud (I believe) posited the Overbearing Mother/Weak Father theory. There is some merit there, but along will come someone to contradict it with their perfectly balanced family history that yet left them homosexually inclined. It’s not scientific. People are mysteries.
Scripture, at least, is clear that God did not design men to lie with men or women with women. Homosexuality is a product of the Fall. As with ALL sin the solution is complete and total forgiveness through Jesus Christ, by grace through faith. A FREE gift of righteousness.
“But men preferred darkness to light because their deeds were evil”—Jesus
Nobody knows, including gays.
But the real issue is special rights.
Hey Kasich: Stupid people probably born that way.
Doesn’t matter if they are or aren’t.
Society has long learned to give “breeders” special treatment for good reason. If, by literally just two bits of information, society can conclude there is absolutely zero chance of a “couple” to reproduce, then there is no reason for society to incentive and compel that couple to remain together as a unit.
Doesn’t matter if “they’re born that way” or not. Make whatever civil contractual arrangements they like; don’t compel the rest of society to treat them as though mere affection or orgasm needs the same social treatment as those for whom copulation is designed to create more taxpayers.
Better question: “Governor, have you had any gay experiences, and were they with a fellow congressman?”
