Speculation abounds as Fox News talking head Andrea Tantaros is no longer appearing on air.
In response to a query from TV Newser, Fox issued a terse statement:
“Issues have arisen regarding Andrea’s contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off. She is still under contract with the network.”
That opens the question of what could have changed regarding her contract all of a sudden.
The Examiner opens a few doors on what might (or might not) be at issue with Tantaros and the network:
While not cited by FNC as a reason for her extended vacation, Tantaros recently claimed during a taping of Outnumbered that certain GOP Establishment-types were coming down hard on her for supporting Donald Trump; "Specifically, Charles Cooke, who is a writer for National Review, he tweeted out that I should give my job to somebody else. Also, a meme by Kevin Williamson of National Review trying to make me seem stupid. I should give up my job according to men in the Republican Party."
In the midst of the Obama Administration's less-than-kosher investigations of certain journalists, Tantaros held little back.
As cited by the NewsHounds.us weblog, while on the air, Tantaros stated quite plainly, "This is Obama’s America. It’s like the Soviet Union. He said he’d change the country. He said it, he said it, he said it, and a lot of people voted for him. And if you see any of those people today, do me a favor, punch 'em in the face. We’ll be right back."

I’d be surprised if Dana Perino didn’t have some influence regarding this decision. Her ties with the Bush Mafia are closer than close and I expect the Family was quite unhappy about Andrea’s support of Trump.
I take no pleasure in being the bearer of bad news.
Not Latina, but Greek. She’s often spoken about how her family emigrated (legally) from Greece with nothing, opened a Greek restaurant here and became successful. She grew up working hard as a waitress in the restaurant, and had no privileges.
And, correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that spoiled-rotten, over-indulged brat Meghan McCain continues to exist on Fox’s air waves.

The most plausible thesis I’ve heard so far.
She was one of the original group of “The Five” and left to go to “Outnumbered”. I think ditz Perino didn’t appreciate having to appear with someone with brains. Andrea and Greg used to roll their eyes when Dana would open her mouth and outrageous grammar would come out.

The Obama comments were in May 2013...so why this silly article bothers to cite them makes no sense at all. This short article has nothing new and concludes with the author admitting he has no idea what he’s talking about.
Michelle Fields did work for Fox until Eric Bolling fired her this year.
