This summary of Rick Perry’s appearance on The View is not completely accurate and parts of its are misleading.

In the video in your link, Bill Still stated that Perry will vote for Trump. He did not add the crucial second part of the story: “at the end of the day,” if Trump were the nominee versus Hillary.

Second, Perry endorsed Cruz on January 25, 2016:

So, this is not true (text below from your source, Red State Watcher”):

“Texas governor, and Republican Presidential Candidate Rick Perry announced on ABC’s “The View” today that shockingly he will not endorse Ted Cruz – a fellow Texas politician.”

On The View, Perry specifically said (at 6:33 into the segment), he said, “Look, I’m for Ted Cruz.”

This headline and the linked article are not representative of what Perry actually said.

It’s misleading.

1. Perry endorsed Cruz on 1/25/16.

2. Perry only said he would vote for Trump if he were the nominee - NOT that he’s throwing Cruz over for Trump.

Your post. Your burden of proof. I watched the entire segment of The View. I challenge you to do the same and find any statement by Perry where he said he wouldn’t endorse Cruz.

You can’t. Because he didn’t.
