Full title:

Camille Paglia: Hillary Clinton’s Brand of Feminism ‘Defines Women as Perpetual Victims’ Could Cost Her Election

Feminist provocateur Camille Paglia says Hillary Clinton’s adoption of a “blame-men-first” brand of feminism that “defines women as perpetual victims” who need protection and salvation from the government could be costly to her campaign.

Writing at Salon, Paglia – the author of Glittering Images: A Journey Through Art from Egypt to Star Wars – asserts that Clinton adopted the “second-wave” brand of feminism – propagated by the “telegenic” Gloria Steinem, who stated, “A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.” She contrasts Steinem’s message with that of her predecessor, National Organization for Women co-founder Betty Friedan, whom Paglia explains tried to draw men as well as mainstream wives and mothers into the women’s movement.

My wife and my daughter, both of whom manage other women, despise victim feminists. They can't stand women who use feminism to complain and to try to get things they don't deserve.

My wife and daughter both can't stand Hillary Clinton.

I think all strong, loving caring women despise Hillary Clinton and her phony feminism.

That ridiculous Julia campaign that Obama ran in 2008 taught me that all too many women in this country WANT to be victims. It’s why Hillary is hitting that fake-phony wage gap issue hot and heavy. A whole lot of women want the government to ensure they earn $1 for every $1 earned by a man...even if their job situations are apples and coconuts.

I bet it gets her a LOT of votes.

Of the 7 women on the team I supervise the 3 that are libs are constantly whining and unhappy about something. Two of the others who are moderate and okay most days but have their moments. The two conservatives I have never give me any pause and work their butts off with nary a complaint.

I have had a similar experience managing mostly female staffs.

Traits that were common to my best female employees were:

1) They were close to their fathers.
2) They did not seek special treatment as compared to the male employees.
3) They had at some point played competitive sports.

One of my very best was a star soccer player in college.

I think you would find that to be true pretty much across the board, as it is has been my experience (I am NOT in management) as well.

Keep the 2 Conservatives and fire the rest. You’ll find that you will get as much productivity by adding 1-2 Conservatives than your present staff.

All kidding aside, women will never be accepted as equals until they stop killing their own kind (e.g. Sarah Palin) and their unborn children.

On June 13, 2015, Hillary unveiled the broad themes of candidacy for President in an address on Roosevelt Island, New York City. Once one of the most polarizing figures in American Politics, she now shouts from the roof tops that she’s an advocate for the poor, as well as for women and girls. But simply being a woman, unfortunately, does not make her the advocate that females in this Country deserves.

Hillary Clinton is an advocate for women as long as you are not one of Bill Clinton’s rape victims or girl friends. And as Hillary rails against the excess of wealthy hedge funders and others on Wall Street, she has used her own statue as part of the power elite to bully people. (”War on Women” pages 15-16)

The Clintons’ life long history of lying and violating the law, seemingly without consequence or punishment, is a phenomenon known as ‘Elite Deviance”. Elite Deviance is a condition socialogists say exists in a society when the elite of that society no longer believe that the rules apply to them. “It is not due primarily to psychopathological variables, but to the institutionalization of elite wrong doing,” say Professor David Simon in his landmark book now in its eighth printing=”Elite Deviance”.

Elite Deviance is an anomaly in which a tiny few people who have enough material wealth, political influence, and personal connections can immunize themselves from considering the consequences of their most abhorrent destructive, vile and even criminal behavior. This describes the Clintons perfectly.

Elite deviance protects and perpetuates moral depravity and debased ethical relativism among the powerful and wealthy in our midst. It is an aberration of civil society that is only possible through the elites’ cadres of supporters, sycophants, apologists and fellow travelers in media, academia, politics and high finance. This includes Clintons apologist James Carville, David Brock, Betsy Wright, Lanny Davis and now fully exposed George Stephanopoalus.

In short, elite deviance means that there are a few among us to whom the rules don’t seem to apply. They can behave with impunity in ways that would otherwise incur severe, if not life-ending, repercussions for all others in the American Criminal Justice System. This pertains to the Bushes as well as the Clintons.

The American public needs to see past this false, dangerous narrative of a charming, goofily naiive “Bubba” and a ‘poor, devoted” Hillary. (”War on Women” Pages 17-18)

Hillary has no brand of feminism. She’s corrupt to the core. She lusts for power and money. She uses and then throws away “feminism” and other liberal causes in her drive for money and power.

I know a man that is a management analyst and a large part of his job is HR. I asked him if there is a wage gap and if so why. He told me many women are not good at negotiating salary, when it comes up in the hiring process they don’t throw out the big numbers. It seems men are not hesitant to name a higher salary expectation. He said women that do speak out do get paid the higher wages.

If the women themselves need to work on their salary negotiating skills it is a phony political issue that politicians cannot solve for them.

Well of course it does! That’s her schtick!! They (women, blacks, etc.) are the “victims” and she paints herself to be their “savior”. Meanwhile, all she wants is their votes.

Can you say “pandering”? I knew you could!

But they are damn sure gonna try. Obama is already forcing companies with over 100 employers to submit payroll data, broken down by race and gender. You can bet the full-court press will be on to equalize paychecks.

Which they will do by holding down pay for white males.

A true feminist believes women are competent and can do whatever a man can do. They would never play the victim or count on Big Daddy Government to support their little fatherless children.

You are blessed with brilliant women in your life.

For the jerks like Hillary and Katie McGinty (BO's choice for our next U.S. Senator) who forever play the woman as victim card, I'm thinking an ad like the following might be effective:

Characters: Your typical soccer mom hardworking employee (let's call her Kathy) and her dykelike overbearing boss (let's call her Rachel).

Scene : Rachel's Office.
Dialogue
Rachel: Kathy, I realize you have worked with us a long time, but I need to make a decision. You are here faithfully by 8:30 am every morning, but you are leaving at 4 pm.
Kathy: Why is that a problem? I am getting my work done and more and I agreed to take a lower salary in return for being able to leave by 4 pm to do the other job I want to do of being a Mom.
Rachel: Well, that is exactly the problem. You've heard of the new equal pay for women act and its stepped up enfocement, right?
Kathy: What does that have to do with me? I agreed to a lower salary in return for a more flexible schedule. I know we aren't supposed to discuss salary, but I'm aware that I make just about the same on a per hour basis as any other employee who does the same work as I do, including the men.
Rachel: You are a salaried worker, not an hourly worker. So when we turn in our reports, it looks like you are being underpaid.
Kathy: I don't mind if you pay me more.
Rachel: That's not an option unless you work the same full-time schedule as everyone else, which is what I am asking you to do from now on.
Kathy: But the whole point of my taking a lower salary is to get a flexible schedule so I can be a good Mom.
Rachel: Are your kids more important than your job? I'm able to find people to replace you that have their priorities straight! It is your choice. Now make it.

A few versions of similar ads on similar themes with a very unlikable female boss should hammer it home.

Which begs the question on Camille Paglia, an avowed Leftie - how can she write with such accurate insight and suffer from such deep cognitive dissonance??? She plans to vote for Bernie, the commie.

When Reality does not/cannot meet the expectations of one’s Ideology, how does Camille continue to support these mentally ill criminals.
