Indianapolis Star's Editorial Board slams Trump "A Danger to the United States and to the World!"

Donald Trump would be “a danger to the United States and to the world” if elected president, according to Indiana’s largest newspaper, The Indianapolis Star.

In an editorial published on Thursday, the newspaper widely condemned the Republican front-runner’s “simplistic proposals,” arguing he is unfit to occupy the Oval Office.

“Trump has demonstrated repeatedly during the months-long campaign that he is wholly unsuited to serve as president,” the editorial states. “He’s offered simplistic proposals on national security, job creation, immigration, international trade and foreign affairs. He has sounded off with appalling comments about women and others.

He’s appealed to voters’ worst instincts by trying to pit racial and ethnic groups against one another. He’s responded when challenged with reasonable questions from political opponents and from journalists with insults and diatribes that fall far outside the bounds of decent political discourse,” it continues.

The Indianapolis Star, the fast-dying local Central Indiana newspaper now owned by Gannett, has declared that Donald Trump is "“a danger to the United States and to the world”

In a hypebole-filled diatribe, the Star said, "he is unfit to occupy the Oval Office."

Of course, the Star (locally known as "The Red Star" for decades), from which NO employee still working there will EVER be voting for a Republican, doesn't actually say WHY Donald isn't qualified, but they endorsed Kasich as the "Saner Choice".

...they endorsed Kasich as the "Saner Choice"

That endorsement will expire the very moment Hillary or Burnout Sanders is nominated.

I’ll preface this by saying Trump is not even close to being the next Reagan in my book. Still this is the same dribble they flung at him in 1980. You’d think that after all this time, they’d be able to come up with something different.

Well, it is the Editorial Board.

I mean, what does a piece of wood really know about anything?

“they endorsed Kasich as the “Saner Choice”. “

Problem is if Kasich is elected the West Wing would be converted into an IHOP.

Inianapolis Star is a Gannett owned fishwrap. They can’t give away that paper anymore.

Do these “newspapers”, ridiculed and/or abandoned by the former readers realize that such “opinions” and declarations from their editorial BORED result in people taking a new and more favorable look at Trump?
Where I live, if the Boston Globe came out in favor of WARMTH and SUNSHINE, most of their readers (those remaining) would wish for a cold snap and snow.

By his failure to get the GOPe to modify its attitude and promise to do better in the future, Trump has proved how utterly necessary he is. The GOPe is composed of petrified (in both its meanings) dinosaurs.

“He has sounded off with appalling comments about women and others.”

No he didn’t except Carly’s “national disapproving ex-wife” face. And Rosie O’Donnell. Other than that the he’s very respectful to women. He even treats them as equals by arguing back with them.
