Donald Trump would be a danger to the United States and to the world if elected president, according to Indianas largest newspaper, The Indianapolis Star.
In an editorial published on Thursday, the newspaper widely condemned the Republican front-runners simplistic proposals, arguing he is unfit to occupy the Oval Office.
Trump has demonstrated repeatedly during the months-long campaign that he is wholly unsuited to serve as president, the editorial states. Hes offered simplistic proposals on national security, job creation, immigration, international trade and foreign affairs. He has sounded off with appalling comments about women and others.
Hes appealed to voters worst instincts by trying to pit racial and ethnic groups against one another. Hes responded when challenged with reasonable questions from political opponents and from journalists with insults and diatribes that fall far outside the bounds of decent political discourse, it continues.

I love it, the Red Star can’t bring themselves to endorse anyone; they hate Bernie (they don’t want to pay their delivery drivers $15 an hour, can do simple math to figure out just how much Sander’s freebies would actually cost, etc), Clinton has serious ethics problems, Kasich abandoned the state, Cruz doesn’t play well with others, and Trump is just evil.
The irony is that the star endorced Ted Cruz, who is culturally and morally identical to Governor Mike Pence, who the star HATES, because of his moral and cultural beliefs.
The star is owned by Gannett and now rivals the NY Slimes in terms of is far left, liberalism. It is “all-gay, all the time”
I thought they were discussing Obama while reading it.
Yes, and people may love Bobby Knight, but the go Beatles crazy over Pence! lol
Seriously, Trump is endorsed by Bobby Knight, and Cruz counters with..... a politician.
As if anyone believes a newspaper anymore.
This is dangerous to Us because it has set up an oligarchy, a virtual royalty in our time.
This is one of the reasons that Trump scares the hell out of them. He must be destroyed lest the wool be pulled from the eyes of the Great Unwashed. Plus, such an outsider cannot be easily controlled.
We've had presidents like this in the past but today it's a different story. I'm am more than ready to se a mostly, normal, everyday guy get elected to the Presidency. Trump may not be all we want but, at least on the surface, he seems to be what we need.
God help his arse if he's lying.
But, I'm probably stating what most everyone knows or feels.
No. They're far to wrapped up in themselves to have a look around and possibly see that the light at the end of their tunnel is just a freight train headed their way. Ya know...stupid.
If it were even minimally influential, the indianapolis star editorial board would be a “danger” to integrity in reporting and honesty.
Sounds similar to the same spew put out by the Sac Bee, supposedly by their editorial board.
Is this fish wrap and the Sac Bee owned by the same left wing thugs?
I used to check the Indystar website from time to time, but haven’t touched it in at least 5 years. The only thing worse than IS... probably the Washington Post.

I think the same hysteria was on display when it appeared that Reagan was going to get nominated.
As if anyone believes or buys a newspaper anymore.
The Post-Gazette continued to be a leftist mouthpiece whereas the Tribune-Review practiced actual journalism much of the time.
About the turn of the century, the Tribune-Review moved into Pittsburgh and started posting subscribers from the Post-Gazette. Today, it is the main newspaper in the Pittsburgh media market and the Post-Gazette has been relegated to a few strongholds in the leftwing areas of Pittsburgh such as Squirrel Hill and Homewood.
There are so few subscribers in our area that their delivery tubes are almost as rare as free flowing traffic in the Squirrel Hill tunnel at rush hour. The only thing keeping their delivery drivers employed is The Wall Street Journal which they wisely secured rights to deliver.
It is almost comical going into a supermarket in our area around evening time. The Tribune-Review is usually sold out or close to sold out by then. The Post-Gazette is lucky to have sold 2 or 3 copies off the top.
Do these smarmy morons realize they've just described ObaMao to a T?
The Indy Star is a leftist rag...
Oh noes!!!! Pretty much what they said about Reagan, especially after his “evil empire” speech.
When I lived in Indy, the Star was Conservative. Along about 2001, Gannett bought them and they turned to Shiite overnight.
