As a young boy, I used to think my grandma very strange. In her bedroom she kept a suitcase, packed and ready for use at a moment’s notice. “Just in case,” she’d tell me when I asked where it was that she was always waiting to go to. “You never know when they’ll turn on the Jews.”
Her house in Northwood was epitome of suburban comfort, and I couldn’t understand what on earth she meant. Until, that is, I learned some history – including the history of the Jews. Which is, in short, that pretty much everywhere, they have turned on the Jews.
From my teens through my twenties and thirties, the fact that I am Jewish meant little to me beyond the Jonathan Miller sense of being Jew-ish. I adored beigels, matzoh balls, Seinfeld and Woody Allen more than your average gentile would think they deserved. And that was about it. If you’d asked me, I’d have told you that after the Holocaust, real, serious anti-Semitism – the sort where Jews were killed for being Jews, rather than the odd nasty comment – was a thing of the past, in civilised Europe, at least.

Terrific article that is just simply...true. Like gravity. One can construct any number of theories as to the whys but the effect remains. Anti-Semitism is a European tradition in its way but in the case of the Brits, I believe there is a special residual resentment for the activities of the Irgun who blew up the King David hotel in 1946 resulting in the deaths of some 91 people, mostly Brits. A terrorist act, by any measure and certainly by contemporary standards. No “freedom fighter” sentiments need apply.

That is why Satan is the “prince of this world” according to Christ in the Gospels, and Satan is the “god of this world” in one of Paul’s Epistles.

The Left is a cult of hatred which is demonic in nature. They will hide behind a sanctimonious veil so they can wage their agenda against those they hate. One thing you can use to detect who they are is how they misrepresent the truth. They oppose those who speak the truth and will use whatever power they have to shut people up.

Why do American Jews stand against the best interests of Israel?
In my experience, most American Jews support the concept of Israel, and would most definitely state that they want stability and peace for Israel, but they also very much identify with being ‘thoughtful’ and social justice oriented, and so find it difficult when it comes to the Palestinian issue. Plus, I think for some the necessary militarization of Israel is problematic. It's actually a discussion that should be had out in the open, IMHO.
The rise of anti-semitism in Europe is very disturbing. To me, all of it is bizarre. For instance, how can the left be so adoring about the sociopolitical philosophy of Marx, an ancestral Jew, but be at the same time anti-semitic? Conversely, how can so many Jews be left-leaning when so much anti-semitism comes from the left?
All of it sickens me. Incidentally, again IMHO, no group uses identity politics as much and as divisively as the left - and you are seeing it in this campaign as the race card, the gender card, the formal education level card, and the class warfare card are all being pulled out - as usual. It's important to remember that identity politics was at the root of some of the most tragic events (e.g. genocide) in human history, and using it like the left does is extremely irresponsible - at best.

History began when the Torah was upon the earth. It establishes God’s Presence upon the earth and is the Link between Heaven and earth. This is why evil ALWAYS hates the Jews. Implacably. I recently read the book “Exodus” by Leon Uris, and was struck by how he described Jews in America as being relatively safe (remember it was set right after the Holocaust), and yet today they support the party that is essentially demanding that the potential agents of their destruction be allowed to come to America.
That’s being Jewish in Britain for you. Fearful, unarmed, surrounded by muzzies, and looked down upon by Her Majesty’s government.
Here in America, jihadis often wind up suddenly dead, which may dampen the Koranic enthusiasm of the others.
And yet most Jews will still vote Democrat, because their worship of Socialism is greater than any other consideration. They love socialism more than Israel, and more than their own lives and the lives of their children.
