Carly Now Calls on Kasich to Drop Out, Proving the Cruz-Fiorina Ticket Is Cluelessly Wandering
Mediaite ^ | April 28, 2016 | J.D. Durkin

On Sunday night, the campaigns for Ohio Governor John Kasich and Texas Senator Ted Cruz released simultaneous statements declaring an alliance of sorts aimed at taking on the runaway frontrunner, Donald Trump.

Jeff Roe from the Cruz campaign released the following statement details exactly how the arrangement would work:

To ensure that we nominate a Republican who can unify the Republican Party and win in November, our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico, and we would hope that allies of both campaigns would follow our lead.

The divide-and-conquer policy would allow for Cruz to focus his campaign infrastructure in Indiana while Kasich tackles Oregon and New Mexico. “We will shift our campaign resources West,” clarified the Kasich camp is its statements.

(snip)

And now, enter a third candidate with no hope of derailing the Trump Train: Carly Fiorina, who was named as Cruz’s VP choice in the event he miraculously wins the GOP nom. Either Fiorina isn’t quite caught up on how the Cruz campaign has been playing politics as of late — or the whole Oregon/New Mexico/Indiana debacle is already deemed a likely failure — because Fiorina relayed to MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson a strange message about her campaign’s unlikely bedfellow from Ohio.

Jackson asked, “How are two people who have not been able to beat Donald Trump yet better than one person how hasn’t been able to beat Donald Trump?”

After some jockeying about the states where Cruz has been victorious, Fiorina pivoted and took aim at Kasich. “I actually think the person you should be asking this question to is John Kasich. He didn’t get the memo. When you can’t win, you need to get out.”

“It is a Biblical level of delusion...”

Agreed. I see no other explanation.

Maybe she is delusional as some of her comments yesterday indicated. And her singing to Cruz’s daughters. Odd.

but Cruz has been shown to be a liar. He may have stood for conservative principles to get ahead, but he has shown his true character in this race.

it is not pretty.

That is the deal breaker for most folks. He willingly bears false witness (many misrepresented positions), will backstab (what he did to Kasich today, telling him to drop out after making s deal) and is not to be trusted.

Sorry to have to say that. I supported him for VP in a joint ticket and tried not to speak ill of him, but he evidence mounts daily of his lack of character.

If he is the authentic face of conservatism, we are doomed.

“...in that scenario Kasich’s chances as just as good as Cruz’ are.”

Maybe better.

A big part of what they don’t get is that we don’t want “free” trade anymore. When they explain why it’s crucial we don’t believe them. We don’t believe anything they say. We want these people to leave. Go away. F off.

Both Cruz and Fiorina appear to be loose canons.

wrong, when the Uniparty establishment meets with Trump, it is on Trump’s terms.

When the Uniparty meets with teddy, it is on the Uniparty’s terms.

teddy has no leverage.

Can you not hear republican voters? Voters not party insiders fixing delegate choices!

Conservatism is principled not sleazy.

Biblical delusion points to following liars. Just who is Cruz following the One Who says He is the Truth, or the one God says is the father of lies, the father of liars? Cruz has lost us, if he had been principled and honest he would be neck to neck with Trump right now. Cruz chose the dirty sleazy path and is reaping the outcome of unprincipled liars, failure.

Carly apparently didn’t the memo both times it was sent out.

“You just couldn’t make this stuff up! It’s like they are in a time warp or parallel universe or something - and are absolutely blind to what’s actually happening. It’s bizarre.”

I couldn’t have said it better myself. I’ve never seen anything like it either.

The alliance between Cruz and Kasich was also delusional.

The other day, I heard Laura Ingram say on Hannity’s show that she was getting a lot of calls from Cruz and Kasich supporters who were upset that their candidate had crossed over to the other side and was no longer going to vote for that candidate. A Kasich supporter, said as much during Trump’s town hall with Greta last night.

Choosing Carly Fiorina is not going to advance Ted Cruz in this election, she is a failed candidate too.

Here we have a candidate that demonstrates the polar opposite of the Trump plan. How can Fiorina be seen as a job creator and candidate to turn the US economy around when......

“All the Democrats have to do is pull out the Barbara Boxer attack ads — they don’t even have to change them!” (TRUE)

“....the biggest target on her back is her tenure as HP’s CEO, where her slash-and-burn tactics led to layoffs of 30,000 employees.”

This ad would kill the ticket:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2lDIHyqo7Q

” While she outsourced Californians’ jobs, Fiorina tripled her salary and bought a million-dollar yacht and five corporate jets.” ... Carly Fiorina. Outsourcing jobs. Out for herself.”

In 1999, Carly Fiorina was named CEO of Hewlett-Packard, the first woman to lead a Fortune 100 company. Fiorina reorganized the company’s structure and forced a controversial merger with Compaq Computer Corp. in 2002. While the merger succeeded, HP’s board fired Fiorina and gave her a $21 million severance package in 2005.

“Carly Now Calls on Kasich to Drop Out”

I don’t think he is going to get the message unless she called him at IHOP.
