Jarhead, your temperate and reasoned response stands out on this thread so full of vitriol and hate for a fellow Freeper who just happens to disagree, and who respectfully and sadly informed Jim of his decision. I too will vote for Trump but it is only with a sense of resignation, and with a great deal of trepidation, because I have no faith in him or what he has said he will do. I too miss the civilized discourse, this is unlike anything I have seen in my years here and it is heartbreaking to see the venom and hate directed to our own, the gleeful posting of lists of banned Freepers. it’s just sickening. If you ever figure out exactly what happened to poison this site, please ping me to it.
Continuing to read it still goes forward one insult after another. Is this an infantile school yard brawl? Has this site been relegated to one uppah insult gamesmanship? This is sad.
