Unless Turd knows about some Establishment voter-machine hacking (or other fraud), the man is psychotic.

What did Jim Bowie say to Davie Crockett when they saw 5000 Mexicans running towards them?

"Hey Davie, are we pouring concrete today?"

Agreed. Waterloo, at best, Little Bighorn, more likely. The Alamo bought the necessary time for the stunning victory at San Jacinto less than two months later.

Indiana is a last stand, not an attempt to buy time.

Like Ted, I was born in Canada, and even I know that San Jacinto would have been a better choice.

Er, does Cruz know what happened at the Alamo? I presume he doesn’t think he’s Santa Anna.

LOL!

To fair, though, I'm not sure Canadians are up on American history.

These bloody commentators are annoying beyond belief. Every combatant at the Alamo was slaughtered, right? Yet, here's twitbreath here, in very cliched fashion, trying to conflate the battle at the Alamo with the 'battle' in Indiana.

Politicians always want a 'new' shiny Federal program, don't they? Well, here's one. Allow citizens (only) to buy insurance policies that pay out when some media clown or clownette utters something this damned stupid. Policy premia to be paid by either the dipstick (commentator/trix) his or herself, or by the employer involved. Courts instructed to rule for the plaintiff unless the cause of action is ruled incorrect or invalid.

I daresay the networks would love such a plan, too: gives them more time to sell for commercials, as all but the most rational and/or competent commentators would simply shut the hell up.

Frankly, last night was the last chance at dignity that Cruz had. Sticking it out to next week is absurd, because Cruz cannot win all of the delegates (and he’s behind by 8 points, on top of everything else). He should have left last week, but I suppose that if he leaves next week it’ll be fine - but the process of unifying the Republican Party MUST start ASAP.

Kasich needs to resign right after Cruz. With Cruz leaving, there WON’T be an open convention, which means that his delegates (esp. the 66 from Ohio) will be worthless. He won’t be in the running for anything unless he gets aboard the train in a big way (and, possibly, its too late for him anyway).

Time to unify, time to turn around the circular firing squad and have them facing outward instead.

I think I see Jim Bowie getting shish-kabobed, and Crockett using his hatchet. Travis in his riverboat gambler lid.

Oh, and there’s Cruz with a sword, in the lower right hand corner. That explains it.
See, when I attended Wilshire Elementary in San Antonio, we were taught that the Mexicans finally gave up and went away, something like the War of Northern Aggression which was fought to an inconclusive draw.
Ted’s just confused.

Uh, you do know that Texans lost and were massacred at that one right?

But it gave Sam Houston time to marshal his forces at San Jacinto. Not that I want to extrapolate here, but Cruz could score enough delegates to eventually keep Trump from 1237.

Really crappy analogy, comparing the events that led to Texas independence to a political campaign. The Trump/Cruz battle is two sabre tooth tigers fighting over mating rights, and their battle lands them in the Brea Tar Pits.

Guessing Cruz is assuming we consider Trump is the one the losing side? (rolling eyes)

Cruz’ guerilla warfare on the delegates stops working when he announces where he will put up a fight. Just like the British and Scots at Bannock Burn in 1314 when the Brits had worn the Scots down to a 1 to 10 disadvantage and the Brits went into ‘mop up’ mode. As the Brits charged the hillock where the remaining Scots were positioned, from behind the hill came a cadre of mounted horsemen in armor. Allegedly the newcomers were the remnants of the Knights Templar, equivalent at the time to our Special Forces. And just as they had cleaned the clocks of the Islamic forces in the Middle East, they wiped the field free of Redcoats.

Freemasonry is alleged to have been modified to include non-stonemasons in their ranks. And that’s why the Jihadi terrorist in Minneapolis was preparing to shoot up a local Masonic lodge meeting before the FBI interceded.
