California has seen a surge in gun sales in recent months, with background checks hitting new highs, continuing trends that began after last year's terrorist attack in San Bernardino.
KPCC obtained data on firearms sales from the California Department of Justice, which tracks them through a system known as the Dealer's Record of Sale.
As of April 15, the data show more than 44,000 firearms sold in Los Angeles so far this year, and another 21,000 sold in both Orange and Riverside. Nearly 20,000 firearms have been sold in San Bernardino County.

They’d better hurry up, especially in the smaller towns and rural areas. The California legislature is about to pass a law banning home-based gun shops and you can bet your ass that Jerry Moonbeam will sign it into law.

How? Paris traffic alone makes that promise impossible to keep.

Bump for a great graphic.

Excellent graphic - but a bit inaccurate. Hillary's rhetoric of late has been about taking the fight directly to the Bill of Rights, so there will be no "twelve of eighteen" banned. She's getting her coven spun up to go for the whole enchilada.
It'll still be their move, of course.

In some cases, almost an hour.
This student called 911, just like liberals tell us to do. The police response was 48 MINUTES. And who was ever held accountable? Nobody as far as I can tell.
