You clearly did not read my whole statement

Then lets get back on topic, are you supporting the fact that this vet shot and killed this non feral cat?

And are you still supporting her initial claim that she thought it was rabid and subsequently recanted her claim in court?

That's what this thread is about..........

This thread really isn't about whether she thought it was rabid or not. People want her executed (on this very thread) because she shot a cat that was on her property. Should she have lied? Nope. Should she have posted the stupid photo on Facebook? Nope. If she broke the law, charge her for it and administer punishment accordingly. Should she be allowed to tend to her own property as she sees fit? Yep. Don't want your pets harmed, keep them secured.
There are many questions that we don't have the answers to. Did she try calling the “owners” and tell them to keep their pets off her property? Did the cat crap and spray all over her yard all the time? Did the cat harass birds and/or squirrels she put feed out for? If she wanted to torture the cat she would have put antifreeze out for it, or shot it elsewhere on the body. I don't believe the burden should be on her to trap, neuter, relocate. That still spread fleas and disease. People that think and then respond instead of responding with pure emotion understand that.
