In Canada, the CBC has widely viewed series called Border Crossing. It has cameras placed in the airport at Vancouver BC. Persons coming in from generally from Asiatic, third world countries and also the United States are profiled. Both men and women customs officers are seen on camera. The female customs officers are ultra polite, they do not indulged in slurs.
So precise and perceptive are they, I have chills watching them. Sure there is a three month visitors visa available. Persons try to creep in on this permit. Ah yes, the phone calls to a female's boyfriend who is supposed to accommodate her. The scrutiny about their finances. The searching of their baggage. The detective like questions which tend to show they if they going to try to work (a no no).
They kicked out an American at one border point because they thought he would get prescriptions in Canada- he had a suitcase full of medication.
She ain't no refugee (chuckle).
It would have to be one sick SOB that would even want to see her body parts !! Canada is to close to the good old USA for something that awful to be so close. God help us !
