I think we’ve happened upon a profound psychological truth, however.
People might want to live and let live with respect to the sexually confused without even demanding that they be policed. However they want to be able to draw some kind of line with respect to majority practice. People want man caves and woman caves to continue to exist and to continue to mean what they meant.
How do you deal with this respectfully? It’s so easy to fumble because the social rules have changed so much.
I would maintain this is a theological and church issue. And perhaps even advantageous to evangelism. Churches can now advertise things like: where did your sexuality go? well, we can show you where it came from. And get a meaningful response.
