Reuters data from April 22 finds that only about 40.9 percent of 1,753 respondents say "people should use public restrooms according to the gender which they identify." Meanwhile, about 45 percent of respondents said "people should use public restrooms according to their biological sex."
The April 22 results represent an approximate 10 percentage-point increase in the number of people who believe everyone should use restrooms designated for their biological sex in just nine days.
According to results obtained by Reuters on April 13, only about 35 percent of 331 respondents felt people should use bathrooms designated for their biological sex, while 46 percent responded by saying they believe people should be allowed to use the restroom of the sex with which they identify.
Support for allowing transgender people to use opposite sex bathrooms reached its lowest point on April 19, when only 37.7 percent of 1,780 respondents said they felt people should be allowed to use the bathroom of the sex with which they identify.
The data indicates that the general public may not be embracing the left's transgender bathroom agenda
I signed the AFA Target Boycott petition on their web site:
https://www.afa.net/action-alerts/sign-the-boycott-target-pledge/
It has gotten over 576,000 signatures in a few days.
I forwarded it to my Facebook and everyone I know.
This is a bandwagon that Christian conservatives should get on. Your actions are exactly right. The same with canceling PayPal.
We are for the first time in a long time winning public opinion on a subject, and that’s because this is obviously a privacy and security issue for our girls and women.
And a fix is SO simple. Individual efficiency bathrooms. So many places already have them.
We had 8 members of the same family gunned down in their sleep in my area last week.
They’re sensitive about security around here.
My ammos at my side. My revolver’s in my pocket. And it’s loaded.
Yes. But...
Trump didn’t want NEW bathrooms made just for that tiny percentage of (goofed up people).
Stay safe Chappie. Keep the 12 gauge bedside for a while. Sounded like a hit but you never know.
Can I use the AR15, too?
:>)
I sure the hell hope so! :-)
Well I have to confess. Target sure shot itself in the je ne sais quoi.
But it probably didn’t do so by being lax about its bathroom visitors. I still say that probably didn’t change. It probably did so by not PRETENDING to be strict about its bathroom visitors.
We’re talking about an area of social life that’s almost impossible to police, sans some gross exposure or molestation taking place.
So what does Target do for a follow up. I guess they could state the truth: we are like 99% of retailers, we don’t really police our bathroom use though we try to keep them clean. Which won’t make either Wildmon or the tranny lobby happy. And Target bathrooms will be the butt (ahem) of jokes for years if not decades.
They needed a poll for this?
and he’s RIGHT.
and he’s right it hasn’t caused a lot of fuss.
But he could have said you use the bathroom that is biologically yours.
listen, it’s not gonna decide the election, but it was an easy home run. oh well.
No kidding. I’m shocked it was that high.
Morons is much too kind
lol. I already voted for him so I’ll just sit back and watch the results. I like him and he gives good answers sometimes and sometimes his answers hurt.
like calling kasich a slob when he eats...
why?!?!!
There are some areas of pretense that the public isn’t ready to either relinquish or force to be more true yet.
Well great, in one way. A memory of something older is still present and being honored. But not so great, in another way. Will the fate of this be like the fate of the DOMA, it stood fast another decade and then it just took a fatal pratfall? Because social mores themselves didn’t actually change for the better?
The churches are going to have to speak for the virtues of how God created people, and no He didn’t just create them to walk away from them and say good luck.
Well Kasich does eat like a slob...
but maybe that really is the most obvious difference. Trump is for negotiating a new populist status quo, and little is ruled out on the basis of sheer principle.
Where would you rank potties on the things Americans are most worried about for our nation? #1? #2? Where? Politicians running a national campaign (as opposed to state or local campaigns) base their strategy on discerning the most important priorities to get elected. Normally, national security and the economy ranks high. Do potties rank up there? Where should a national politician place this?
How does this play out nationally? Does the 10th Amendment matter, or is this a Federal responsibility? Should there be a cabinet-level Secretary of Potties established, with a new cadre of TSA-level uniformed police to monitor public restrooms across the nation? Do they stand before the bathroom doors requiring citizens to produce birth certificates before allowing them in? What are the penalties for refusing? How do we pay for this?
I think it's interesting from a political standpoint that people are clamoring for something that the drive-by media have inserted into the campaign. Their motives are not honorable, I can assure you.
I’m truly touched.
Where is your ‘go-fund-me’ link?
Two of them
I can’t believe it is this close. Doesn’t anyone have young daughters?
