Fact — the bulk of his vote is lower middle class (including phony or cynical evangelicals who don’t really care that much about dead babies, Christian freedom and foul-mouthed candidates).
Your point is that lower middle class whites (Trump’s main constituency) are aborting and killing themselves off?
True indeed. No denying that.
Yes, Gomer, I guess I do.
[[Coming Apart: The State of White America, 19602010 is a 2012 book by Charles Murray, a political scientist and W.H. Brady Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, Murray describes what he sees as THE ECONOMIC DIVIDE AND MORAL DECLINE OF WHITE AMERICANS THAT HAS OCCURRED SINCE 1960]]
Try to keep up. More than white people vote for Trump.
I said his MAIN supporters are clueless secular lower-middle class whites. I did not say ALL his supporters are clueless secular lower-middle class whites.
Nope, that’s not my point. My point is that you are a single-issue voter, 100% anti-abortion, 24-7-365, and that if you were faced with a candidate who was perfect in 99 ways out of 100, but they didn’t hold exactly your view on abortion, to a T, you would vote against them. And because of single-issue voters like you, who won’t support a less-than-perfect candidate on the Right, we could all be faced with another Liberal in the White House. Because you, clearly, would rather cut off your nose to spite your face, than support Trump.
I’m sure you claim to be Christian. “Christians” like you, who sit in holier-than-thou judgement of others... might want to revisit Luke 6:37.
Judging? You’re judging me from beginning to end. Except that your judging is asinine and nitwit — and mine precisely correct.
I’m hardly a 100-percent single issue voter. I supported Romney and McCain who were weak-tea, weak-kneed 70 percent conservative. Donald Trump is 20-40 percent conservative at best, depending on which position he is retreating from at the moment.
As the nominee-to-be, Trump should be supported by all Republicans. But he needs huge pressure from legitimate conservatives to keep him on the straight and narrow. Or else he will be a confused mess.
