Melissa Click, the former University of Missouri assistant professor who was fired after she tried to block a student journalist from covering a campus protest, suggested in a recent interview that her public termination was a matter of racial politics.
This is all about racial politics, she told The Chronicle of Higher Education in an interview published Sunday. Im a white lady. Im an easy target.
Ms. Click said Missouris Board of Curators fired her to send a message that the university and the state wouldnt tolerate black people standing up to white people, the Chronicle reported. Ms. Click didnt elaborate on how that would explain the termination of a white woman.
The Chronicle reported that Ms. Clicks nerves are perpetually on edge since her firing in February, when she began moving out of her office in the dark so she wouldnt run into anyone.
She was suspended and eventually fired by the university after a now-viral video showed her trying to grab a camera from student Mark Schierbecker and calling for some muscle to remove him from an encampment of black student protesters. An assault charge against Ms. Click was dropped when she agreed to perform 20 hours of community service.

Hey Melissa, get it straight!
It’s WHITE privilege, not WHINE privilege!
Melissa, black shoe polish ain’t out of style!
She was fired because she was a thug who incited violence to silence a reporter. She should be in jail.
Amazing a person this emotionally unstable and nonsensical was teaching college kids and supervisors did not notice it until her stupidity went viral.
She’s the one who said “who wants to help me get this journalist out of here? I need some muscle over here!” Now she cries....
How incredibly ironic she is pulling out the non-existent white race card...LOL...
Well DUH!
As has been said many times before, "Those who can't do, teach."
Called for physical attacks on non-blacks.
Now admonishes non-blacks to stand up for her.
My head hurts.
Well done!
And those who can't teach, become politicians.
Go away, witch.
This is all about racial politics, she told The Chronicle of Higher Education in an interview published Sunday. Im a white lady. Im an easy target.
race card + victim card + self pity card + sexism card + prejudiced card = libtard full house
In a sense it was her skin color, but in a way she can’t admit to herself or anybody else. If she’d been black and done the same thing foe the same purpose, the university would have been afraid to fire her because of her color. Being white she didn’t get the very AA black privilege she’d been campaigning for.
It’s easier to fire a White b!tch idiot, than a Black one.
Great pic.
