I live in Oklahoma. From anywhere in Oklahoma you can be in another state in about 3 hours. No one’s perceived right to an abortion is being denied. Oklahoma is just choosing not to do them.
“A man rapes a woman and the baby gets the death sentence without a trial. That seems fair. /s”
That’s what I’ve been complaining about.
I no sooner post about a 3 year old here in WV getting an STD from some 25 year old and you all want to hang him by the nearest tree? Where is that same attitude when it comes to this? If a 12 year old is raped in the women’s bathroom by a 25 year old man then he should get the death penalty. No talk of abortion for her we need to get her justice. Give him a fair trial while others are weaving the rope to hang him at dawn if found guilty. End of story.
You agree?
Oklahoma is just choosing not to have that evil in their mists.
That’s my opinion too.
When and where I grew up in the 50s guys that raped children got sort of lost out in the woods somewhere. They didn’t show up for work their car was at home but they weren’t there and were never heard of again.
As for babies from rape. They are innocent like all babies. If their mother doesn’t want them after she sees them then put them in an orphanage for adoption.
You are ok with having a 12 year old carry a rapists sperm in her body? Not to mention the dangers of having a 12 year old raped child carry a pregnancy into full term. You all seem to not know what happens when a person is raped and they show up to the ER. They get a forensic nurse or a trained ER physiciain to perform the rape kit. They then get handed the morning after pill in which they ingest just a few hours after the rape. They dont even know if they are pregnant or not from the rape, they take the pills anyway.
Would you like your 12 year old child to carry a rapists pregnancy into full term?
All I can say is our side can do boycotts, and we have far greater numbers.
Same thing just about all advocavy groups do.
You misread me.
>Same thing just about all advocavy groups do.
True. I suspect, if one were to give a donation of a few $M, on the condition they went to court (fight against the Left), they’d turn it down...
——Given the current U.S. Supreme Court justices ——
by the time it makes it to SCOTUS, there will be nine at the bench
So then under this law, if there is an exception for rape or life of the mother then would the person performing the abortion under those circumstances still lose their license? And if they do then shouldn't the doctor who recommended the abortion lose their license as well? If performing an abortion is unprofessional conduct then recommending one should also be unprofessional conduct as well.
>Rape/Life of mother. Those would be *my* ONLY exceptions.

First off, the one performing the procedure SHOULD be a doctor, in a medical facility
1) If the exemptions exist in the law, how could one penalize another for performing said procedure? Not as if the ‘mother’ can do it herself. We’re not talking about FORCING a doctor to perform here.
2) Unprofessional...Performing vs. recommending? I don’t see how the two equate. You saying a recommendation (say, a legal procedure in one country, but illegal in another, so fly to the ‘legal’ country) the same as DOING...where’s it’s illegal?
“I’m tight on $$”. “Well, you can always rob a bank”. “Ha, what a hoot.” = jail??
