Donald J. Trump Response to Cruz and Kasich Campaigns

It is sad that two grown politicians have to collude against one person who has only been a politician for ten months in order to try and stop that person from getting the Republican nomination.

Senator Cruz has done very poorly and after his New York performance, which was a total disaster, he is in free fall and as everyone has seen, he does not react well under pressure. Also, approximately 80% of the Republican Party is against him. Governor Kasich, who has only won 1 state out of 41, in other words, he is 1 for 41 and he is not even doing as well as other candidates who could have stubbornly stayed in the race like him but chose not to do so. Marco Rubio, as an example, has more delegates than Kasich and yet suspended his campaign one month ago. Others, likewise, have done much better than Kasich, who would get slaughtered by Hillary Clinton once the negative ads against him begin. 85% of Republican voters are against Kasich.

Collusion is often illegal in many other industries and yet these two Washington insiders have had to revert to collusion in order to stay alive. They are mathematically dead and this act only shows, as puppets of donors and special interests, how truly weak they and their campaigns are. I have brought millions of voters into the Republican primary system and have received many millions of votes more than Cruz or Kasich. Additionally, I am far ahead of both candidates with delegates and would be receiving in excess of 60% of the vote except for the fact that there were so many candidates running against me.

Because of me, everyone now sees that the Republican primary system is totally rigged. When two candidates who have no path to victory get together to stop a candidate who is expanding the party by millions of voters, (all of whom will drop out if I am not in the race) it is yet another example of everything that is wrong in Washington and our political system. This horrible act of desperation, from two campaigns who have totally failed, makes me even more determined, for the good of the Republican Party and our country, to prevail!

Md looks pretty safe for trump. Few md republicans are messianic conservatives who would vote for Cruz based on substance and most people on the street probably have little clue of who is john Kaysuck. If trump carried northern VA he can carry MD burbs close to DC
The democrat unions will dutifuly vote for hillary because, well, obama part 3

One of the few remaining Cruz hacks still spewing nonsense on these boards. Did you really ask such a stupid question as to how did Trump demonstrate the system is rigged? And how would he not get at least 60? He’s getting 50% with them both in. You mean to tell me that he can’t attract 20% of their remaining total. You’re another one that needs to get zotted. A complete Cruz shill rooting for a brokered convention.

The Cruz-Kasich merger is out in the open, announced by both campaigns, and perfectly legal. Therefore, this arrangement is NOT collusion!

The Donald loves to play the victim...just like all good Liberal Democrats! Think about it!

The way I see it, Donald is soiling himself over this because he can do basic addition...

559+148 = 707

While 845 is still greater than 707, the numbers show that Cruz and Kasich may be able to march into Cleveland with a very credible alternative ticket that could appeal to most at the convention. Cruz-Kasich just rolls off the tongue!

Plus, you have two strong Conservatives uniting both ends of the party spectrum, a young Constitutional visionary working with an experienced pragmatic budget-cutter! Contrast a party unifying Cruz-Kasich team with the Liberal Trump-Whoever (Oprah, Bernie, Kanye, Omarosa, Carson, Christie) ticket? What self-respecting Conservative Republican will have the stones to embrace Trump as his VP? Jeff Sessions? Think about it!

And then, if you throw in Rubio’s 171 delegates plus the current ~100 RNC-controlled delegates...

559+148+171+100 = 978 (before the remaining primaries get counted)

These exciting possibilities may be why Mr. “Art-of-the-Deal” was blowing kisses to Rubio last week, hinting at VP! Think about it!

You know, if Donald is secretly calling “Little Marco” to obtain his delegates in exchange for the Vice-Presidency, that might be actual “collusion”! Trump is always prone to project his own bad behaviors and foibles upon others...think about it!

Essentially what they are saying is “we’re two sour grapes losers who can’t win by ourselves, but we think you are dumb enough to vote for us if we combine our efforts.”

It is only the media and the gop establishment who are salivating over the prospect of a brokered convention. The voters instinctively know that the only one to benefit from convention chaos would be Clinton.

I suspect that tomorrow Trump will crush the two losers in PA, RI, CT, MD and DE, getting over 50 percent of the vote in each state. He will then Crush the Cruzer Loser in IN. From there on out Trump will be like a boulder rolling down hill, crushing everyone in his way.

A Difficult Goodbye

This is why the last eight months have been brutal. In a way it shouldn’t have been surprising that Rush would have an affinity for Trump. Trump hits the great sweet spot for Rush in being (ostensibly) anti-Establishment and non-pc. Rush was hardly the only conservative media voice applauding Trump’s refusal to back down from the media. Even those of us who have opposed Trump right from the start could respect at least that part of Trump’s schtick.

Unfortunately Rush’s defenses of Trump became more and more tiresome. It felt at times that it was simply the Donald Trump show featuring Rush Limbaugh, as Rush turned any attack on Trump, from whatever source, as simply the Establishment and/or the media trying to tear down the great Donald.

I couldn’t take it any more, and so what was once a daily ritual ceased. I’d tune to Rush every now and then, and inevitably he’d be discussing Trump and the latest “Establishment’ hit on Trump.

This guy left Rush because he says that Rush is all for Trump.

I think Joe Arpaio is quite a stretch for VP consideration. On the other hand, he’d be great in the Cabinet - in charge of Homeland Security.

Kasich is not well known to the public. If he gets the nomination all of the dirt from the Gary Condit/ Chandra Levy era will hit the public eye.

He was a well known partier with Condit and left Washington post haste when the sh*t hit the fan.

Nearly every comment out of Cruz's mouth begins with 'Donald said this' or 'Donald said that' or 'Donald is ...'

Cruz is running AGAINST someone -- Donald.

Donald is running FOR something -- to Make America Great Again.

Kasich WAS running for the VP slot, by this coalition with Cruz may have ruined that. Cruz will NOT get the nomination on a 2nd or 70ieth ballot and Kasich may be seeing his leverage for the VP slot vaporizing.

Post 35: On gun rights his position is the strongest of any candidate....calling for a national license across all state lines

Your reply: Federalized licensing of guns? So much for states’ rights and keeping D.C. out of our lives as much as possible.

What Trump is saying is the if you have a license in Maryland that license would also be good in New Jersey or New York. Because right now your right to carry in another state will get you jail time in New Jersey.

“Why are they not lies?”

*****

That’s irrelevant. With few exceptions, the providers of conservative online forums have sided with Trump. For some, they share his populism (true believers). For others, they like the income that comes from such support. A few could care less about his beliefs, they just want Trump to abuse executive power to further a political agenda outside of constitutional constraints.

Trump (like Obama in 2008), can say or do anything he wants. It will not adversely affect his base. They will still support him.

As it become more and more evident that Cruz is not going to win, he wants to leave his mark even if that mark is vandalism.

The last thing Trump needs is Kasich as his VP. He’s a loose cannon and will undermine Trump.

I heard Rush say the same, which is basically damned if he did or damned if he didn’t. My issue with Rush stems from the meeting with pro amnesty Schumer that he never told his audience about until he had no choice to; to what he purposely says and does not say about Trump. The clincher was when Rush refused to condemn Colorado tactics.

This man is the only hope from the globalist sell outs in the Uniparty who fund Kasick, Hillary, and Cruz all at the same time.
It’s not just that Lying Ted and Kasick are LOSERS but they are REALLY BAD PEOPLE. Men with no morals, dignity, or moral compass. Everyone except the establishment hacks and GOPe sellouts can see this.
