“Are you going to pay for day care for the child and its rearing expenses while the mother gets to continue her college education or other things to prepare her for the long life ahead of her and relocating her so that she does not bear the moral opprobrium or plain revulsion such women face for being rape victims.”

Yes. I’ve helped a number of young women who ended up pregnant and were abandoned by boyfriends/paramours. Some are now happily married. Some are single moms but are doing well. I don’t recall any of them being raped, but I would certainly help a young woman in that situation. I have NEVER known a pro-life person to say no when asked for help in such a situation.

“Oh that would be socialism wouldn’t.”

Nope. That would be charity. I’m not a government. And even if a government did it, if it was to save a baby’s life, no matter what you want to call it, it would be right.

“We believe in personal responsibility and the woman who is raped must bear her responsibility.”

I see no reason why a victim has any responsibility other than not to harm an innocent person.

“I am actually ok with society bailing out these victims of your sad sadistic moralizing except in those rare instance where the perp is a multi-millinaire whose property can be confiscated to make restitution.”

I made no “sad sadistic moralizing”. Maybe you should know about what your speaking before you use your keyboard? I don’t want babies to die. Apparently you do. That’s not moralizing. It’s murder.

But that is the singular case we are arguing about here.

I see no reason why a victim has any responsibility other than not to harm an innocent person.

So whose responsibility is this baby's life, since it is not the victim's?
