A former New Mexico political consultant has pleaded guilty in Albuquerque federal court to a child pornography charge in a case stemming from theft of emails from Gov. Susana Martinez's campaign.
Jason Loera pleaded guilty Friday to receipt of a visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. It was one of six pornography counts he faced under a federal indictment.

He probably did not get the porn from Governor Martinez’ emails, but the story sure reads like it.

My guess without reading is that all these people are Democrats. Otherwise this would be splashed on the front of every news blog, page, paper, and reported on every news channel in the U.S. incessantly—with the first word being REPUBLICAN.

The article does not mention party affiliation, but according to wiki Gov. Martinez is a Republican.
Anyway, I did not know that one can become a criminal for receiving an email message?! Maybe this guy better call Saul!
I’ll bet he likes to pee in the little girls’ room too.
The article isn’t clear at all but it seems what happened is that he’d hacked into the governor’s email, and while that investigation was being pursued, child pornography was found on his computer. There were 6 charges against him, he pled to one, no doubt the least of the 6.
Yeah... maybe he “received” the kiddieporn by asking for it first, and knowing it was illegal in advance. I dunno.
