Republican Donald Trump holds a big lead in California, in a new Fox News Poll, while Hillary Clinton has a razor-thin edge over Bernie Sanders in the Democratic race.
Trump captures 49 percent of likely Republican primary voters. That’s more than the combined support for his two remaining competitors: Ted Cruz receives 22 percent and John Kasich 20 percent.
The mogul leads his rivals by a wide margin among every demographic group, including those he sometimes has trouble capturing: women, young voters, college graduates, and very conservatives.

Thanks so much for your warm welcome. It’s an honor to be among so many patriots here on FR. I will be voting for Mr. Trump in Maryland this Tuesday morning. I keep praying for party unity so that he can focus exclusively on “Crooked” Hillary, who must never again live in the White House!!!

LOL. Now Freepers are the "establishment," but Ted's supporters Jeb & Neil Bush, Mitt Romney, and Lindsay Graham are not? Or does the real GOP political establishment not matter to you, only the Freeper "establishment"? Cruz would never have won WI without the massive support of the actual establishment (he won the most lefty areas of the state, including Madison and Milwaukee--that never would have happened without the GOPe's full endorsement).
I've been very disappointed in certain Freepers too, who once upon a time would have supported the regular voters over the GOP establishment and its illegitimate, anti-democratic rules (and I won't even get into all the dishonest radical misrepresentations of Trump many of them push on this site over and over, while ignoring any evidence that might suggest or outright prove otherwise).

If not for Mr. Trump, I seriously doubt I would be paying any attention to this campaign. He is the only one whose message resonates with me. I registered as a democrat in high school in 1978 and have been one ever since until last month when I switched to republican Living in Maryland my entire life (I will turn 56 May 29th), I never felt so compelled to change parties. Now, I eagerly wait to cast my ballot this week for Mr. Trump.
My main issue is terrorism/security coupled with stopping illegal immigration. I WANT THE WALL ASAP! We need to put an end to the scourge of drugs and abolish sanctuary cities.
Moreover, Mr. Trump is the only candidate courageous and brilliant enough to tell the truth about what must be done to wipe out terrorists. I am fine with waterboarding tactics and am tired of our military forces fighting with so many limitations. They deserve the best equipment, weapons and the fair chance to battle on a more level field.
I remember the Iranian hostage crisis shortly after I got out of high school and it’s hard to believe we are still fumbling around and constantly making things even worse.
Mr. Trump exudes strength, has been proven prescient and doesn’t cave into political correctness. He makes me feel safe and hopeful.
He will also do what it takes to restore America’s manufacturing base and produce good paying jobs to revitalize the struggling shrinking middle class. It will be so amazing to see “Made In The USA” labels again.
Mr. Trump offers that once in a generation opportunity to get our country—and the free world—back on track!! We demand his leadership and I pray he will bask in a glorious coronation in Cleveland!!
