I think he’s lying again. He gave back the bust of Churchill and I believe it is now in the British Embassy in DC. I WOULD say maybe he feels a little guilty and is trying to curry favor, but we all know that narcissists feel no guilt anywhere in their personalities, so I suspect he is trying to pretend he cares about Britain (another lie, as we know he hates Britain for it’s ‘imperialistic past’). I remember when BOR asked Obama (a few years ago) “why do you think some people hate you?” and Obama said “oh, I don’t think anyone hates me”....and I was thinking ‘yeah, narcissists believe everyone loves them and loves everything they say or do’. What a trial this country has endured for nearly 8 years!
As soon as he mentioned that bust I remember he had given it back , but then thought maybe he had another one lying around as not even he could lie that much in front of the Prime Minister who was right next to him.
The he mentioned the staffer, but would not name the woman, I think another B/S story from him as he never had an answer.
