“Of those, there were 16,060,000 families in which no member was employed, or 19.7 percent of the total. “

I bet they were mostly fat too.

And yet the Kids think this importation of illegals is ok and then are left wondering why their 4 year degree is only worth a barista job or worse.
The kids today are basically made insane.

[Ship millions of American jobs and entire industries overseas and then import millions of low wage illegals into the country?

And some people are struggling to figure out what happened? They’re surprised were in decline?]

Nailed it.

And with many folks having to work 2 and sometimes 3 jobs to make ends meet, it’s harder to find those part-time jobs.

But hey, the economy is fine, just fine. Or so we’re told most days by the propaganda MSM and local news.

One day, they’ll have “shocked” faces, I tell ya. Shocked!!

For many now a days being a ward of the state is good enough (to get by).

Sad:-(

My widowed mother and all her 75- to 95-year-old friends in the Independent Living building count as “families” in which “no one works.”

a stat that is more to the point: over 90 million people of working age are unemployed in the US. That is 25% of Americans are unemployed. The obozo and his federal liars corp reports the unemployment rate is 5%. And there really is a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow.

You could nail it to the foreheads of some folks, and they still wouldn’t get it.

But it sure makes it easier for the morons to just call everyone lazy.

I have seen the shift. The majority of Americans are not prepared for it.

It does not bode well for the long-term. /extreme understatement

[ No work, no pay taxes. No vote.

Bring it on. Either we face this, or we collapse. ]

Either everyone votes and no one gets welfare etc...

Or we have welfare, but those on it are not allowed to vote.

Representation ONLY through Taxation!

20% not working = full employment under this administration.

How many of them aren’t “families” at all, but welfare sows with golden ticket bastards set up as “families” in public housing?

My fiance is ripsh!t pissed at not being able to work more hours due to losing disability benefits, but the ugly thing is jobs are so hard to find that her benefits (which she richly deserves; she has a lifelong incurable condition) going bye-bye are worth far more than the few min-wage positions that are actually hiring recent college grade.
