“Other suits challenging Cruz’s eligibility have met similar fates in courts in New Hampshire, Arkansas, Alabama”

Pennsylvania as well. And the election boards of 50 states too. But for some that is not enough. Neither would a Supreme Court decision be enough. Not even if the founding fathers spoke from the heavens and declared Cruz an NBC would it be enough. Their minds are closed to reason.

RE: Pennsylvania as well.

Yes, and most recently New Jersey.

Having read the writings of the founders, I am confident they would not find a Cubanadian to be eligible.

A clear definition affirmed by the Supreme Court would be enough for the vast majority of those who have questions. The way we're going now, what's to stop a person not too far in the future from being President of two or more countries?

The sooner it's done, the less weak it will be. What shocked me eight years ago was that there was no process in place to determine if a person is elibible to run for President, including to affirm or deny if a person is a Natural Born Citizen.

I wish I could say that I was shocked that the 'pubs didn't get a procedure in place after Obama's first election. But that would be silly....I expect establishment Republicans to undermine the US Constitution and insult their voting fodder every chance they get.

NJ ALJ Masin didn’t even read parties’ briefs and instead cited law review articles and Penn. judge Pelligrini who cited the same articles. Neither one analyzed the articles and neither one cited law and precedent.

No more so than if they declare a tail a leg, as Lincoln so aptly put it.

The meaning of the term "natural citizen" is like a natural constant. It cannot be changed by legislation or decree. It is based on "Natural Law" which is the philosophical underpinnings that justified our independence from England.

The fact that a whole host of ignorant people say otherwise does not make it so.

Their minds are closed to reason.

Exactly backwards. The people who have researched this term and who have discovered it's origins, arrived at their position precisely because their minds were open to reason.

The people who's minds are closed to reason are the ones who simply believe what people say merely because there are a lot of people saying it.

The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly decided a person born abroad is not and cannot ever be a natural born citizen, yet you dishonestly and dishonorably disregard their prior decisions to propagate the lie that Ted Cruz and the other ineligible candidates are somehow supposed to be natural born citizens when they are either aliens with no lawful U.S. citizenship or they are at best naturalized citizens. Such lies may continue only so long as the dishonest people continue the charade and control the courts of law in defiance of the law and in defiance of the Constitution. This is why there will be a day of reckoning and they will be removed from their offices in disgrace and punished in a court of law for their dishonorable acts. Their enablers will be held in ill repute.
