AP has already looked at some of the ins and outs of Trump’s comments on North Carolina’s bathroom law, but the fact is Donald Trump is right. This doesn’t mean I plan on replacing my #NeverTrump magnet with a “Make America Great Again” one or start delighting in the idea of a Trump presidency. But I’m okay with agreeing with him on this even if it may be a case of Trump the blind squirrel finding the nut.

This debate over bathroom access seems like a ridiculous one for this election cycle, and something which could end up hurting more than helping. Trump is right on this issue. It will be more interesting to see if he decides to switch his position in the next few days (much like he did on abortion) to make sure the evangelicals who follow him stay with his flock. It just would be nice if the debate was about debt and spending cuts, not about bathroom access.

Yes I agree it is a stupid thing to be focusing on. It’s simple...if you have man parts you use the men’s locker room. If you have lady parts you use the women’s locker room.
Note I am calling it a locker room because that’s where the real abuse occurs. Many states already enforce this type of law. So NC passing it and the left making it an issue is crazy. Anyone that is against this reasonable law needs to rethink their priorities.

You are right. This is THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE right now. Those who speak out against the LGBT agenda are being fired from their jobs, shunned by society, told they can't buy or sell without bowing to the LGBT crowd and guys like Trump and his followers bow before the LGBT crowd and say, hey, this is not important, it's the economy, stupid.
The bakers who held their ground against this tyranny have lost their businesses. The photographers who held their ground have lost their businesses and professions. But that doesn't matter as long as we build that G-- D--mned Wall. It's like the only thing keeping America from being GREAT AGAIN is the lack of that G-- D------ Wall.
Well, we are not being destroyed by hard working immigrants who mow our lawns and pick our crops. We are being destroyed from within by people who call evil good and good evil.
We need to get down on our knees and pray for a revival. We need to stop putting our faith and trust in the arm of flesh. Trump will not make America Great Again. Only a moral people who are willing to take a risk and stand up for God and traditional values can do that. Trump does not share those values. If he did, then he would never have condemned North Carolina for standing up for them.

How do you keep men who look like that out of a woman’s bathroom?? They are going to use a stall, they aren’t going to pee in the sink because there are no urinals. So how to you keep them out?
is it so frigging hard to get a guy or gal who believes in keeping our borders, keeping normal marriage, men are men therefore use men bathrooms, . Is it hard to have someone run on platform of getting rid of trade deals, , but have a strong morals.
We have frigging none and never have for generations.
One has not problem of letting girls change in front of men in a female bathroom.
The other guy takes money off a homosexual activist business man from TX and then preaches family for crying out loud.
The other guy running is a flake and a full left wing idiot.
I worked in a place where a big, hairy guy decided he was a woman and started to use the women’s restroom/locker room. The women all left when he entered and refused to go back in until he left. Management had to finally give him his own out-of-the-way restroom.

Yes knowingly- Once you alloow men ot use hte same bathroom as your wives and daughters- they WILL exploit it without fear of beign arrested- plain and simple- before=- they risked beign arrested- now under the new laws, they won’t be at risk-

To hell with any law. If my daughter is at a YMCA or a public bathroom and a guy walks in ten he will get a swift reaction from me and to hell with a law. My chances will be or maybe with a jury .
My first duty as a dad is to protect my 15 year old daughter and that is what I take seriously.

I have always kept silent on the gay/straight thing but allowing male perverts into ladies rooms is crossing the line IMHO.

I used to joke that if I were in High School I could gain access to the girl's locker room by claiming that I was a lesbian trapped in a man's body.
Now that excuse works. Anyone claiming to be a lesbian trapped in a man's body can sue if someone tries to throw them out of the girl's locker room or the women's bathrooms.
And people here claim this is not a big issue. It is a symptom of America's decline. We cannot make America Great again by surrendering the moral ground to a wicked and perverted agenda.
If we want to make America Great Again, then we have to return to the values that made us great in the first place. Trump will not take us there. He's made it clear. He thinks he can do it by building a wall and acting tough against China. He can't even stand up to the LGBT perverts, how in Hell is he going to stand up to Putin?
