No contradiction.

He never said NC didn't have a right to make the law they did, that would be a contradiction.

Exactly.

No contradiction.

That's a contradiction in my world.

If someone told me that I shouldn't have done something because it resulted in negative consequences and then hours later told me I should feel free to do it, I would see it as two diametrically opposed pieces of advice.

I haven't seen anyone claim otherwise.
